AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core, 24-thread unlocked desktop processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

Bought to upgrade my 1800x and I have no regrets. If you have a productivity or streaming workflow this CPU is perfect. noticeable and bench marked 33% performance improvement for rendering 4k videos.

This is the first time in a long time that AMD has surpassed my expectations on what i want from a cpu. Temps are a little warm on air cooler but I am sure it will be alot better once I run my custom hardline water cooling loop. 4.3 ghz overclock at 1.35v thats so much better then previous generations. Just over all a great a cpu!

I had some over heating issues with the cooler but after installing a liquid cooling system Ive had very little problems with this CPU.

Great powerhouse for the money.

Seal broken, CPU missing, got a worthless cooler. Ordering from Currys in the future

I have used this CPU for future upgrade (at least for couple of years). Was deciding between Ryzen 3700X and 3900X. Its a lot of cores for this price range. It all works, all I throw at it. Stock cooler is used and that one is louder when CPU runs hotter. Can definitely hear it when it is changing revs. Cooler will definitely be changed at some point. This was used with MSI B550 Carbon Wifi and Viper Steel Series DDR4 64GB (2 x 32GB) 3600MHz Kit.

Ive spent days trying to get the CPU to work with 3600mhz DRAM - Wont do it. Randomly hangs on restart. Everything else is good. Tried 3 types of DRAM, 3 Motherboards, two PSUs and swapped with a 3600x on a different system. 3600x works great, 3900x still hanging. Going to call G.Skill to see if they have a suggestion then RMA the CPU. Very disappointing.
