AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core, 24-thread unlocked desktop processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

This motherboard has a weird issue. One day the whole system turned off and would not turn on. I was sure the motherboard was dead, removing the cmos battery and then turning on the system worked. Cant imagine someone without a lot of tech knowledge to know what to do.

Ive been using Intels processor for quite a while and gave AMD a try, not disappointed in the least, using this for 3D rendering and some gaming, paired with a closed loop cooler to keep temps low, great processor, up until now, had not disappointed me with anything I usually run, test renderings with Blender/Cycles have been great.

Ero indeciso tra questo e il 3950x ma penso che per le prestazioni/prezzo abbia fatto la scelta giusta (utilizzo il pc principalmente per programmi di grafica).

Il processore va molto bene, montato su scheda madre asus con x570 dove non ho configurato nessun overclock anche perché uso il pc principalmente per fare grafica. Ottimo processore che dire, io lho montato con il dissipatore che viene fornito in dotazione, molto carino anche lrgb della ventola.

I was expecting this AMD Ryzen 9 to be hot but it is maintaining mid range temps in the low 40s

This Processor is amazing. Night and day difference between my FX8350 rig. But this thing is a beast. Epic performance, nominal price.

It may say 3.0ghz, but it runs like at 4.20ghz and it doesnt get hot, the GPU card does, but thats another thing. Theres no need to overclock and get a liquid cooler unit, unless thats your tweek, but whatever. The only thing that slows my system as my ISP, but thats them, another separate issue that doesnt involve this.

I tend to do a lot of things that push my GPU and CPU hard. I noticed problems with my old Intel processor/motherboard combo in the past with such habits, but I havent had any issues with this newish model by AMD.
