Super fast.....awesome for gaming and multi tasking. This was definitely a good buy. Only one con about this is that it doesnt support on board graphics of your mobo so you definitely need a graphics card to even setup your Windows. All in all, love the performance

Passando da un quad core 7700k overcloccato a 4.8ghz, ero un pò scettico sul passare o meno a 12 core di amd. Leggendo solo cose positive sui nuovi processori a nodo 7nm alla fine ho deciso di comprarlo e associarlo ad una mobo 550b di MSI visto che mi ero trovato bene con la vecchia Z270 sempre MSI.

I care more about user experience (no stutters) over frame rate numbers! A solid workhorse for productivity as well (programming, music rendering, video editing), but then again Im coming from a 6th gen i7. Glad AMD is back in the game as my last one was the FX-60.

If processing power were muscles, this thing would be benching me all day

CPU is just a straight beast! Amazing, this should be a long time before I need to upgrade.

I probably did not need to splurge for the 3900X but decided I did not want to have to upgrade anytime soon. I went from a i5-7600K and what a difference it has been! I havent had any problems in the last 4 months. Also, I went with an X570 motherboard so I did not have to deal with updating the BIOS on older motherboards. Get this and enjoy it.

I have had several people mention getting a bad CPU and having overheating. I have reseated the CPU several times. My cpu has been overheating and shutting down during renders for my work computer. I am really hoping that AMD will help me with replacing the CPU as it was a large investment for work.
