> 24 hourThis CPU runs hotter than its predecessors. At idle, the cpu runs at 55-60 degrees with 5% cpu usage across all cores. With some light gaming (path of exile), the CPU goes up to 70 degrees, but with 30% cpu usage across 2-3 cores.

> 24 hourPicked this up at the $400 sale price point, and Ive had one of these CPUs before, so I knew what to expect. This processor will get hot at stock, but, with a bit of tinkering, its fantastic. Mounted with a great cooler, and with a bit of tinkering in a PBO 2.0 curve undervolt, these processors can hit over 5ghz on boost, and stay even cooler than stock. At the lower price point, the price per performance makes a lot more sense. The 8 core 16 thread set up, with top tier single core performance offers a great middle ground for plenty of gaming performance, with room to stream or do some workloads on the side. Overall, likely the best overall CPU (actually available) right now. Would highly recommend for those with some OC/ undervolt savvy, and a penchant for great cooling solutions.

> 24 hourIf going from a ryzen 7 2700x was expected to be better , it really aint , you really dont feel a big difference in performance and graphics , fps on most games stayed the exact same , graphics didnt get a mayor boost , and energy savings was pretty much the same , you trully arent getting anything better if you already have a good build , mines is a asus prime pro motherboard (white), 32gb of ram , 2tb of nvme.2 , a evga 750 plus power supply, and a corsair h1 3 fan liquid cooling , keep your money for this one and move on guys!.

> 24 hourIm Austausch zu einem Ryzen 1600X aus der ersten Ryzen-Generation ist die Mehrleistung nicht nur mess- sondern auch fühlbar vorhanden. Ob Windows, Programme oder Games, die Startzeiten haben sich deutlich reduziert und auch das Arbeiten ist spürbar direkter. Wer Mehrleistung auf der AM4-Plattform benötigt wird hier durchaus bestens bedient.

> 24 hourThe Ryzen 5800X is an interesting product. On initial launch the 5600X was clearly the best bang for the buck option on the market, with the 5900X being the more productivity oriented model. Online reviewers reflected this sentiment, so interest and therefore demand for the 5800X diminished. In March 2021, the 5800X has become the better value part in the stack due to the other options no longer being as appealing as they once were.
