> 3 daySince 3700X is out of stock, I have to choose 3800X, I am not crazy at the overclocking, Every thing is fine except the fan, the original fan is too noisy! The RGB is nice but the noice gets the reduce. It push me to change a water cooler. the Ryzen has made a much progress in 2019, hope it can push Intel to show something. That is the best result of competetion.

> 3 dayManaged to grab a 6900XT for retail but my Ryzen 1700 was holding it back causing stutters, got this and PC runs fantastic and also ready for Windows 11 as the 1700 was not supported, installed on an MSI Gaming Pro B350 after Bios update.

> 3 dayAMD has knocked it out of the park with these new 3000 series chips! So glad I upgraded from my old ryzen 1600 to this BEAST OF A CHIP 3800x. Get some nice cooling and set to auto. Amazing performance right out of the box.

> 3 dayI like the fact that it was a decent upgrade from my older CPU which was an AMD Ryzen 5 2600X at 3.6Ghz base clock each core in other words it sure is a whole lot faster between the two CPUs as well and Id say that it was worth it to me at least.. I mainly use it for gaming but can create greeting cards on my computer as well as word processing as well..

Greater than one weekThe performance initially on this cpu is amazing, but my first one failed very fast. I havent done any OCing and I have a big noctua cooler on them and they arent overheating. The first CPUs memory control module failed I believe as suddenly it wouldnt even attempt to post and wouldnt recognize any memory. The second one has degraded I believe as the benchmark performance has continued to drop. its not surprising because these things even at stock settings volt themselves extremely. Ill be replacing mine with an Intel which is what Ive used for about 15 years now. The performance and specs on the AMD is impressive but Im not going to risk being stuck with one thats going to fail prematurely.
