Comes with thermal paste preapplied and a stock cooler, cuts costs if you are looking for efficiency in your budget. The only thing is Ryzens heat to scarey levels so make sure you have some good cooling in place if you are using it for gaming.

Ive had every generation of Ryzen, including the 1700 & 2700. The 3700X is a huge upgrade over the previous generations. Its a no compromise CPU, good for nearly every task from productivity to gaming. Ive seen a huge improvement in 1080p gaming, especially when gaming on Linux via Proton. Well worth the upgrade for me. Also, the included Wraith Prism cooler keeps the processor cool and looks great.

I have upgraded my old Ryzen-5 1600 CPU with this one without changing my old motherboard AsRock 350AB. The system works as expected and I get double performance gain in most applications. The CPU under extreme load never exceeds 65C, very nice. Definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to upgrade their old Ryzen system.

Installed on a B550M motherboard, as soon as I tried to install windows it would crash halfway the install process. Created a linux bootable usb and after running various tests (interchanging parts, reading logs) found out the processor was defective. Returned it up without any issues, bought a Ryzen 5 (the only one available at the time) and completed my build without problems.

    さすがに早いです、立ち上がり、バックアップのようなバッチ処理で、8年ぐらい前のAthlonより早くなったな、と感じます。

I bought an original first-generation Ryzen 7 1700 with a completely new build in 2017, a few months after they launched, and I was very happy with the purchases I made. I use my PC primarily for gaming, although it is also used some for working remotely (remote desktop to a computer at work) and for school, which is mostly online, and I also do some light photo and audio editing and encoding. At the time, it just didnt make sense to pay the premium for a Core i7 when I could get four more cores and still get decent performance in single core workloads for less money with the Ryzen part, however I knew I was making a compromise. The Core i7 did achieve higher frame rates, and gaming was the primary workload for this build.

AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8 core, 16 thread unlocked desktop processor with Wraith Prism LED cooler. Base Clock - 3.6GHz.Default TDP / TDP :65W. (1) OS Support: Windows 10 - 64-Bit Edition, RHEL x86 64-Bit, Ubuntu x86 64-Bit (2) Operating System (OS) support will vary by manufacturer.
