Greater than one weekWhat can l say AMD has done a great job with their 3rd Gen CPUs. Upgraded from a 1st Gen 1800X and it is a good jump. Using it as a temp CPU until the price and stock of 3950X settles. Great little CPU though!

Greater than one weekThis CPU is an absolute beast for stunningly low costs. the fan looks great, but its so cool (thermal wise) yet powerful it doesnt need the fan to run the desktop. its easy and intuitive to use, and the only problems you can have is if youre an idiot like me and dont update your motherboard BIOS. the fan can be a little frustrating to mount, but for the cores and speed you get for the price, this CPU is the best choice for any mid range PC. and anything else is just the ryzen 5 or 9, which are in this products same line. TL;Dr this is the 100% best choice for almost any CPU

> 3 dayUpdated March 2021 Review: The new 3700X seems happy in my Asrock X570M Pro4. Its been holding it down for a few months, now. Its very quick and snappy with my Gen4 m.2, and easily pushes my R/W speed to the m.2 drives limit (5000/4400 MB/s). The included Wraith Prism cooler does a decent job: The hottest Ive seen it is 83°C under serious load with 100% fans. Out of the box, at idle, it will sit around 2.3 GHz, but when working, it will boost up to 4.395 GHz, and level out at about 3.9 GHz under sustained load. I then slapped a Lian Li Galahad 240 AIO on it, and let AMD Ryzen Master do its Auto Overclocking thing, and now this bad boy routinely boosts to 4.441 GHz, and usually levels out at around 4.2 GHz under sustained load. Very nice.

> 3 dayUpgraded from an i5 4670k to this Ryzen 7 3700x and Ive been very impressed by the overall performance increase. This cpu has no problems encoding or re-encoding videos on handbrake. Videos that are about 20 mins long that are 4k that need to be re-encoded with very best settings and 2x pass on Handbrake would take me about 8 hours on my i5 4670k but with the Ryzen 7 3700x it makes it only 2 hours and 17 minutes. Thats pretty amazing. I havent been able to test this out on many pc games just yet because my hard-drive is small at 140 gigs and Im going to be upgrading to a 2tb hard-drive soon but as you can tell from YouTube videos online this is pretty good for gaming. Definitely an upgrade from my i5 4670k since that cpu came out back in 2013. My old i5 4670k was rated at 84 watts which isnt bad but the Ryzen 7 3700x is rated at 65 watts! And if youre not doing intensive stuff at times its barely using any watts from what Open Hardware Monitor was showing me. I think this cpu right now is the best bang for the buck since you get 8 cores to future proof yourself and this cpu is more than enough for gaming, editing, encoding, and streaming. If you stream on twitch, YouTube, or any other place this cpu should be able to handle almost anything thrown at it at 1080p at least and higher preset in OBS.

> 3 dayPerfect for gaming at 2k. The temp for the CPU is very stable and low. And stability overall is really good, no issues.
