Greater than one weekhaving bought several Ryzen Ryzen 5xxx types myself, decided on 5600x as suitable for grandkids coupled with X570 Steel Legend motherboards.

> 3 dayI was able to get one of these day 1 at a Micro Center. Unfortunately when I got home and opened the box I was stricken to find that 2 of the CPU pins were bent in a 45 degree angle. I was so upset, not because of the pins being bent completely beyond repair but because I knew that once I got back to the store they would be out of stock. I was able to get a full refund and now I wait for them to come back. Perhaps now instead of getting the 5600 ill treat myself and upgrade all the way to the 5900 which is the one that I originally wanted anyways.

> 3 dayLo compré al actualizar mi pc de un 3600x, la diferencia en juegos se nota. Pero es algo caro.

> 3 dayAssuming you can get it at MSRP, the 5600x is more or less the best CPU you can buy for gaming right now. There are more powerful chips for workstation-type tasks, of course, but this thing runs cool, stays quiet (though I did not use the included Wraith Stealth cooler), and kicks ass in pretty much every game Ive thrown at it. My personal rig is running a 5800x (the 5600x is my wifes) and I cant tell a difference between them in game performance. Our machines are specd very similarly. The 5800x was a waste of money in comparison; the 5600x strikes such a better balance that its the obvious pick for pretty much anyone if you can fit it in your budget.

> 3 dayEl procesador rinde muy bien en general, tanto para ofimática como juegos, la única recomendación es que si quieres jugar a juegos exigentes compres un disipador aparte para bajar un poco las temperaturas.

> 3 dayThe CPU supports over clocking with a compatible motherboard. It is powerful for a mid ranged CPU. Windows 10 installed in just a few minutes. Price was good as it does come with a cooler, however if you are going to overclock you will need a better fan/cooler. Generally AMD are hot running CPUs although I did not try the wraith cooler it seemed alittle small for me and I did doubt its performance. My build was a gaming and graphics pc so I needed the extra cooling if you are going to run a general all round pc and will not be running intensive programs the wraith cooler that it comes with will be fine.

08-11-2024Great Value, Great performance - whats not to like! Stock cooler a bit weedy - will look to upgrade that in the next couple of months but good enough for a starter build.

> 3 dayScreaming fast CPU. Now Im comparing against a ryzen my old 1600x... The 5600 x destroyed in every possible way while its tdp is around similar and runs cooler. Games like red Dead 2 no longer slow down in places where it use too. Eg CPU bound processing like towns and built-up areas where causing huge slow down. My Computer boots in under 6 seconds with M2 or SSD. Definitely recommended for gamers however if youre willing to wait for the Next Generation and ddr5 it may be better in the long run.
