I dont game on this, but you can. Most games that will work on it to get decent frame rates you have to turn all the settings down. I use it as an HTPC, because smart TVs suck

My last build 7 years ago was a AMD FX6300 and I thought it was time for an upgrade. This Ryzen 5 5600g with a Asus B550-f motherboard... WOW. If your looking for something nice that wont break the bank this is the way to go.

the box came with a little dent, the APU and Fan are physically OK, i will test them when get the RAM. Amazon should send it with protective styrofoam

I decided to build a custom AMD PC, what a fiasco. Been building Intel PCs since the 80s with no issues. Decided to build an AMD PC for the first time, After months of trying different motherboards, BIOS upgrades, testing components I am finally giving up on AMD. I thought that it was so cool that all Ryzen used the same CPU socket (AM4) and all you needed to do was get the right motherboard chipset and done... tried B450 and B550M boards from different manufacturers, never got the POS to boot, all other components testing fine. Not worth saving a dime with AMD, going back to Intel.
