AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler - YD2600BBAFBOX

Used this CPU for my first PC build and it was very easy to install and runs smoothly.

Excellent CPU upgraded from a 1st gen Ryzen 5 1500x. Stable overclock on a B350 MB at 4.0 GHz on 1.3v after an easy bios flash. Im using the larger wraith cooler not the one included and temps are amazing under load at 45-50c and 30-35c idle. Im really impressed as the low power consumption and improved architecture over the 1st gen Ryzen are evident. Im able to stream at 720p 60 FPS with a webcam on PUBG at over100fps on BFV at 80fps and CSGO at around 250fps paired with a RX580 8gb and 16gb 3200Mhz memory. The 6 core 12 thread CPU allows me to have multiple programs running with no noticeable hit to performance. Its a great cpu for the price and should do me nicely till about 2021 in my opinion. It is highly recommended and reviewed and I have to agree with all the opinions. If your happy to overclock it can outperform the stock 2600x by around 10% if not get the 2600x there both great and you wont regret it.

I absolutely love this CPU. Well done AMD! It comes with an included cooler which is super easy to install and has pre-applied thermal paste (which considering you wont be overclocking this it just means youre saving that much more money on your build). Great performance, and now enough time has passed where Ryzen Drivers are actually super stable. Some would argue get the Ryzen 5 2600X, because it is only $16 more and has a higher base clock with a better cooler. However, I would argue that $16 for an extremely small bump in performance could be set aside into getting an upgraded SSD, or put towards an upgrade in GPU, which would carry more impact. That having been said, Ryzen unlocked all their chipsets to be overclockable, so youre really paying $16 more for a better cooler, and a chip they claim is better at overclocking.
