Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

This case from Amazon exceeded my expectations. It is designed to fit a WD hard drive and for the price, a little under $6, it is a great deal. Sturdy, stylish and functional, the hard drive and cable are coddled perfectly in a protective cocoon that secures the hard drive on one side with an elastic strap and the cable on the other side with a mesh net. If only all products were as practical and efficient. I see little reason to pay 2-3 times more for a hard drive case when this one does the job so well. The case is semi-hard and should protect the hard drive from damage in all but more extreme circumstances. I give it a solid A for construction and utility and an A+ for price.

After reviewing the size, I decided to order this as a durable carrying case for my AUVON Dual Channel TENS EMS Unit. This case fits everything PERFECTLY inside - including being able to carry several additional pads, and protects everything I need to keep my unit handy on the go.

Good size case. Fits the Western Digital hard drive perfectly. Added benefit of the cord holder inside. Outside is hard, but a bit pliable. Fits perfectly in my computer bag.

If you are getting a hard drive I would strongly recommend getting a case for it as well. This case was cheap and is perfect- there is room for your chord and hard drive.

Excellent semi hard case for my WD passport drive. Ive even purchased a few to carry odds and ends, hardware, and even Q tips for traveling. I wish they had various colors so I could keep track of whats what. I highly recommend these cases. You cant beat the price or quality.

This case is great for protecting my portable hard drive (2.5). However it is a little tight for my WD passport drive. This case also works great to house 2.5 drives that dont have an enclosure. With a little foam for padding and to keep the drive from bouncing around when transporting it, it keeps the drive nice and secure.

Arrived timely. The two partitions are perfect for your hard drive, and cord. The size is perfect for my 1TB WD Elements 3.0 drive. I will be using it regularly, so I will attempt to update after more usage.
