Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

This case is 4.72 x 3.66, compact enough to throw in a backpack, daypack, or purse.

It fit my 4TB WD Passport Ultra with a purple grip and both the original usb cord it came with and the purple cord the grip came with without any issue. It feels sturdy and solid and I would not be afraid too much if it fell a few feet. I use it to protect my drive while I carry it in my laptop backpack. Id recommend it to protect your WD Passport Ultra if you have one and plan to carry it around.

Hard case, well built, with pockets for the wires, and great protection for the case. Fits well and comfortable grip rubber zipper.

This works great to protect my external hard drive. Hard drive fits in one side and cord fits in the other. I have even put in a flash drive and memory card and still fits. I like this one so much better than the other one that i have that isnt a hard case but a soft one. Have had it for quite some time and has held up real well.

Pros: Fits my WD Element 2 TB self-powered USB drive A-OK! Nicely padded. Inside of case has rubber band for securing drive and mesh pocket for cable. Great simple packaging!

I have always purchased WD carrying cases, but have not been able to find them lately. I decided to try the Amazon Basics case. I bought two and the are good protective cases. I like the way WD contains the drive and cables a little better, but this does the job very well. Its probably just a matter of getting used to this one.

So i bought this with my seagate back up plus and it to big to fit in. After some adjusting i managed to get it to fit nicely. Overall if you are looking at the seagate backup plus i would say go with another case.

Got this for my WD My Passport Ultra Metal Edition 2 TB and it is very good. On one side it has a strip of elastic to secure your hard drive and on the other side it has a mesh pocket where I keep my warranty and USB cord. Also excellent price.
