Works great. Just what you need for your passport external hard drive. Mine is a 2TB drive and there was no issue about whether it would fit or not.

Does exactly what it needs to do, and does it very well! This case fits all of the small enclosures I have perfectly. Very happy with this purchase.

These are hard case the protect the external drives. The AmazonBasics brand of case is high quality at a low price. I bought four of these for four drives that I use to back up my computer.

This case worked perfectly with my Toshiba portable hard drive. I even had enough space to store my tablets power supply cable in it. This compact little case and my tablet is all I have to carry around. It seems pretty sturdy so if it happens to fall or something, I think it will be ok, and absorb the impact.
