Its part hard shell but still a little soft. Netting on one side I put my cord in so it wont scratch the hd. Other side there is a strap to hold down the hd. It probably would fit most hard drives, even thicker ones. You can actually put 2 hds in there if you left out the cords (one in netting one in strap).

Nice quality case. Fits the 1TB WD My Passport Ultra External hard drive perfectly. However, the zipper pull feels cheap, and might break.

It is ok for my passport WD; the disk stay well protected and you can store the cable and a couple of USB keys too.

Solid little case for a PocketGo, just winds up being a little too big. Reviewing as an unmodified case, but planning on putting a little foam in to keep the system from moving too much. Great for purpose at its price.

This case for flash drives is perfect for storing your images and then putting them in this case for safekeeping, or for anything digital for that matter. I think it’s great to organize your flash drives in this way as opposed to getting them lost with a multitude of other flash drives.

This Hard Carrying Case for My Passport Essential is just right for my needs. I need not worry about protecting my hard drive when I am traveling. It is small but protects well.

My external hard drive fits perfectly and will be well protected, but honestly, I have no memory of looking at these or ordering one. Very strange!
