On Doctors advice, several friends in my community combined L-Lysine, Zinc Sulfate and 4,000 IU of D3 daily for 8 months. Results being that nobody got the virus, but 2 non-participants did. Coincidence?? Doubt it.

Excellent product! Not sure if I will use it consistently, but it helps with stress related out breaks that I get facially, and has made me breathe better I believe. I started taking them before I had a ankle injury and I also believe that it was helped with my recovery of my bones , Whoo!, glad Ive used prior to it breaking. Would recommend this to anyone who is also concerned about their skin.. As mentioned before, Im not sure if you can overdue it with this, but Ive read that you can, so caution is still needed, but I still think getting this in your system is great.I will use it in increments throughout the year with stress outbreaks. Since I’ve been using lysine I’ve noticed that my nails are stronger . I never knew that lysine helps with protein assimilation . I began taking it after a relative died, and noticed that 2 months after I finished the bottle , that my nails were breaking . Now I’m back analysing and looking forward to not having my nails tear off and cause me pain.

This product has protected my immune system for as long as Ive been taking it. My friends come down with colds and respiratory infections on a regular basis, but, even after having been around them, Im still in good health. I am a very young 85 and have lots of energy. I read a lot and have always tended to get styes but I notice now that the sty may start but within a day, the itching is gone. I would not be without my Llysine and my 1000mg vitamin C.

This is one of the better deals Ive come across. Good price for the quantity and nice that they have 1000mg without it costing a lot more than the lower dosages. Ive tried many brands of lysine, and all, as well as this one , are very large pills, not sure you can avoid that unless you buy lysine powder.

I have been using L-Lysine for years, due to reoccurring cold sores. This brand is the best I have found so far. Because they are 1000mg., I only need to take one every day. Even though the pills are large, I dont mind. Really happy with the results. This is either the second or third time I have purchased this brand, and I will continue to do so!

They work great but I will pass on future orders because they are just too big. When I add them to my daily pill box they take up too much room. These are horse sized pills. I will stick with the Solaray brand, much smaller 1,000 mg tablets.

Appears to have helped me. Decades ago, I got shingles and then cold sores after treatment with steroids weakened my immune system. I used L-lysine supplements then to get rid of the cold sores. Since I had received a shingles vaccination a couple of years ago, when a small area on my back started itching, I thought an insect had bitten me - I assumed I now had immunity. Not true per my research, although the severity of a new episode might be reduced by the vaccine. I chose not to see my doctor because (1) Id already had it at least a week and a half, (2) I didnt expect it to last much longer per my research, (3) this was a minor flare-up because Id allowed myself to get run down. It only dawned on me that it was shingles when I began to experience the same gastric symptoms Id experienced years ago with the first episode.
