Ive been taking these for years to prevent canker sores and they really seem to do the trick! I think this is a great quality product.

Those of us who suffer with immune deficiencies and everything this supplement is supposed to help with are eager for help. Amino acids are lacking in most of us today. It is difficult to rate the efficacy of any supplement until time goes by. This consumer hopes it helps. We will see. I will update the review if I see signs of improvement with the issues it is being used for. For now I rate it 4*

I usually got cold sores 2-4 times a year. I started taking a daily lysine pill (1000 mg), and I think it took months to get a baseline going in my body. I got a cold sore in that first year, though it was much smaller and went away much quicker. Since then, 2+ years, I havent had a single one. I just looked at my order history and found out it was that long and so I thought it was important to give my experience in hope that anyone else who has suffered through pretty painful and embarrassing cold sores could find similar relief. I do think it has to be daily, and when I feel a tickle I take another one, and I also have the lysine/lemon organic lip balm. But now, even when the tickle comes, it goes away without a breakout. Also, you have to stay away from beer and, they say, chocolate. Worked for me, hopefully for you too.

Been using these for a few years for to keep cold sores at bay. Works well for that. The most recent shipment contained a bottle full of pills that looked strange. The pills are always pure white, but these had pink specks throughout. No clue why, but I don’t trust it given I’ve never seen them like this before. First time buyers probably wouldn’t know they aren’t supposed to look like that. I got a replacement through Amazon, so hopefully this was a one-off thing. Let me start this off with every person is different. Im assuming this will work similar with other people as it has with me though. Ok, now to the review. I have gotten cold sores since... well since as far back as I can remember. Im almost 21 years old now and I am very self-conscious about having cold sores. It gives me such bad anxiety and I get panic attacks and blehh... its not good. Frankly, it makes me want to hide away and just never go out ever again. I used to get cold sores every month or so, and sometimes 2+ times a month in the winter. It devastated me. I heard about lysine from my doctor because I couldnt afford to keep up the prescribed stuff and he said that Lysine would be better because its preventative and still helps get rid of them when happen to get a cold sore. I ordered this quite a while ago and started taking 1 pill twice a day. I didnt have any cold sores. At all. When winter first started this year, I went to visit family in california and got sick from them. I was stressing out about a lot of things (the possibility of getting a cold sore was one of the main stressors), so of course, I got a cold sore. I started taking 2 pills 3 times a day. Im sure if it was possible to overdose on this, I would have. The cold sore went through its normal cycle, but a lot quicker. Winter isnt over yet, so Ive been taking 2 pills twice a day and I havent had one again (yet). I really owe so much to L-Lysine. I know this was a long review, but I hope it helps someone. And I really hope that L-Lysine will help you like it has me. You dont even have to buy it from this seller. (I just did because it was cheaper haha) Good luck and Godspeed!!

No flavor that I can detect, I have no problem with swallowing these supplements. I need all the immunity I can get during this covid period.

This Lysine product works great. Very effective at keeping ulcers away. Much better than other brands I’ve used for this. I’ve tried several others and keep returning to this Lysine. It really does work.

Use to get awful cold sores, I have been taking this for over 5 yrs and have not one cold sore! On my high stress weeks I take one or two additional which keeps every little tingle quiet!

On Doctors advice, several friends in my community combined L-Lysine, Zinc Sulfate and 4,000 IU of D3 daily for 8 months. Results being that nobody got the virus, but 2 non-participants did. Coincidence?? Doubt it.
