With one small design exception, these headphones are impressive. The sound quality is really good and they are comfortable to wear. Since they do not go in your ears, in high noise areas you will not hear what they transmit as well as you would with over or in ear headphones, but on the other hand the sound is pretty loud. The sound quality is more on the treble side than base. I got these because since COVID-19 began my work has been mostly virtual and that meant I had to have headphones on or in my ears all of the time. My ears started to get irritated by the constant headphone use, so I ordered these. The Aftershokz are not in your ears so they don’t irritate my ear canal area but let me get the job done. My one criticism, is that I would love to use these in bed while going to sleep, but their design makes that impossible because the behind the head part protrudes beyond the back of your head so you cannot lay back while using them. If they had a softer, or more form fitting back piece they would be ideal

Update May 14, 2021 I have had these since February 14. I use them while exercising and sweating heavily - and these are very sweat resistant, unlike the AfterShokz Air. These are GREAT! These are also perfect for the office and home office. They pair with both my smart phone and Windows laptop seamlessly. These have long battery life - all day, and quick charging. February 14, 2021 I just bought AfterShokz Aeropex bone conduction headphones from Amazon and tried them out today. I am REALLY impressed. They are light-weight and the best sounding bone conduction headphones Ive had. Bone conduction headphones are not for everyone. I love them because the ear pieces fit right in front of the ear on the cheekbone - keeping the ear opening free and so I can hear my environment. They dont sound as good as conventional headphones, especially for music. However, for podcasts and phone conversations, they are great. And a HUGE BOBUS - the Aeropex Bluetooth connects to two devices. So I have my Aeropex connected to both my cell and my laptop. Its great for Zoom/Team conferences on my laptop, phone calls on my cell, cell podcasts - without having to disconnect and reconnect my Bluetooth. Previously I had AfterShokz Air bone conduction headphones and really liked them, but they died from sweat from my workouts - I even replaced them (under warranty) twice, but sweat was a killer. The Aeropex is rated better for water resistance (and sound better). AfterShokz Aeropex is a little pricey. It comes with a two year warranty - which during the two year period I will be testing the sweat-proof features of it.

I purchased these to bike, walk, and to listen to music/podcasts around the house. Not for audiophiles, but not bad sound. Really good stereo separation. Sound is like the EQ through your head cuts off the lows, and some of the highs. I may even take these traveling, so I can listen to podcasts while the family listens to the radio. Glad I bought them.

My wife and I are pretty active and do a lot of outdoor cycling, running, walking, etc. The bone conduction technology is a definite safety factor since it allows you to hear environmental noises. I havent tested the noise cancellation aspect, but I would think earplugs would be as effective with or without the headphones. The sound of these is excellent especially since these are bone conductive. OTE headphones would probably have better sound for audiophiles, but the sound on the Audioshokz is very good. I have used / tested some cheaper bone conduction headphones and their sound was not nearly as good as these Aeropex. These sound as good as athletic ear buds that I have used. The comfort and size are a big plus. I will forget that I have them on since they arent in my ear. They pair well with my Android phone for music and phone calls. I havent had any complaints regarding the mic when used for a phone call. One of the biggest features for me (besides the comfort and sound quality) is the water proof rating. I sweat heavily when exercising and have ruined other sport water resistant earbuds as a result. Many times the speaker or the charging port is the weak link in allowing water access. The magnetic charging used for these is great, no charging ports or port covers to deal with and the speaker drivers are sealed. I have used my pair about a year? without any issue. I am completely satisfied with these headphones and impressed with the build quality, comfort and sound. I would recommend these to anyone!

EDIT: I have had these for almost two years now and they havent broken, so they are sturdier than the Titanium. I would still recommend them to anyone! I loved my Trekz Titanium headphones, and these are even better. They are lighter weight, so you dont feel them as much. I do have a big head and I worried that since these were smaller they might not fit, but they fit well. I also hope that they are more durable than the titanium (Ive had 4 pairs of them and each broke at the thin place above the ears, but I kept getting them because they do work great). But I hope these last more than a year. The best thing about Aftershockz is the ability to connect two devices to your headset. So I can watch on my laptop and when a call comes in on my phone, it pauses my computer and transfers the sound to my phone so I can answer it.

I was skeptical about these, but two trusted friends (who don’t know each other) both recommended them so I gave it a try. Working from home has been tricky, I needed something that still lets me hear my background, won’t give me a weird hair crease like regular headphones do, and a battery that lasts through the workday. These totally did the trick! They go behind my head along the neckline, under my hair, and because they send sound thru the bone, it’s not plugging my ears at all so I can hear what’s going on around me. And the battery life on these lasts about 7-8 hours straight! They can sync to my computer or my phone, anything with Bluetooth. If you’re thinking of trying these, you won’t be disappointed. Literally the only thing I can complain about is that you cannot use them while it’s charging. But they charge fast, so not really an issue.

Excellent! Sounds great! Loud! Excellent set of headphones for exercise. These are the best headphones I have ever owned for exercising. Highly recommended! Water resistant like crazy. I am very impressed!

These are not Bose Quiet Comfort headphones and they dont sound like them. These are fantastic for working from home being on calls much of the day. ZERO ear fatigue and the ability to hear everything going on around you (unless you put some ear plugs in, since they work through bone conduction). Ive exercised and mowed the grass and showered a couple of times with them on. No issues and I do recommend them!
