Used these to make steel coasters and pot trivets. The 1/8” thickness was perfect for this.

Used it to block off the area around my window-unit air conditioner because the plastic accordion slider simply wasnt enough. World of a difference. Great adhesive.

The product has durability

The smell was very strong and noxious. My VOC meter reacted strongly to it. The meter has no way to tell if the VOCs are harmful or not, (many VOCs are not harmful). I unrolled it and left it outside overnight which helped a little but it still smells. Sorry, but comments to reviews are no longer allowed. Made in China.

As the result of a freak accident (dont ask!), the hard plastic hood of my John Deere riding mower was badly damaged. I collected the pieces and clamped them back together. Next, I cut large pieces of the adhesive-backed foam and carefully placed them over the damaged areas on both the inside and outside of the hood, sealing the broken plastic pieces together on both sides as close as possible to their original positions. The underside of the hood is black, so the black foam matches perfectly. For the outside of the hood, I followed up with a couple of coats of spray paint in John Deere Green. From a distance, it looks perfect, and up close, its not bad. The adhesive seems to be holding up beautifully! (Sorry I dont have a photo or two!)

You cannot separate the neoprene from the backing without tearing it. I even tried heating it with a hairdryer first still could not get it to separate. I have NEVER returned an item to Amazon but I will this product. It is a complete waste and whoever is selling this knows that before sending it out!

A little soft and flexible. Should be a good insulator.
