> 3 dayThese swaddle blankets are by far my favorite, they are large enough to swaddle your newborn and use as a blanket.

> 3 dayI purchased these three years ago and Im now just writing a review. Why? Im still using them and all are holding up so extremely well. At first I purchased these as swaddling blankets/cloths and used them for changing diapers in area that had iffy surfaces out in public (Im looking at you restaurant and department store baby changer station). We have used these to sit on in the grass outside and on public park benches. My kids have used these as capes while playing superheros, and a light blanket in the hot summer months. Later they were used for tent and den making in the house - in addition to the sofa cushions, and as pretend play ghosties over the years. However, now that they have grown out of them, I use them. These are perfect for wrapping up medium-long hair after a shower, or for patting my face dry. Sure, the color has faded after three years, but all of them are in phenomenal shape considering how many washes theyve been through. Would I purchase these again - absolutely! These are also the first items I buy for other expectant moms.

> 3 dayThis are a must for every baby. They are large enough to swaddle well without being too bulky. They breath well and they get softer with every wash. I have ordered a new set for all three of my kids and they hold up so well. My 2 year old uses the original ones I got 7+ years ago. He doesn’t go anywhere without them. This is a great gift to welcome a new baby.

> 3 dayOh my gosh how I love these blankets! My son is 9 months old and Ive been using them since he was brought home from the hospital. He was born in August (and Im from Alabama so the heat was extreme) and was able to swaddle him in these without him burning up. They are very thin and allow for air flow, but not so thin that it wont keep a newborn warm. My son still loves to cuddle with these blankets. Theyve held up very well over the last 9 months. I havent had any problems at all with them. They are fine in the washer and dryer with baby clothes. And they are super, super soft. A word of caution, make sure you get the ones that say 47X47, because then you know you are getting the more expensive boutique blankets. The smaller ones arent as good of quality and I found that you cant swaddle your baby for nearly as long because they quickly outgrow them (my son liked to be swaddled until he was about 8 months, so I definitely needed the larger ones). I would highly recommend these. They may be expensive for baby blankets but they are SOOOOO worth it. Especially since these are the only blankets you need.

> 3 dayThese beat all other receiving blankets. I use them for absolutely everything baby related. Genuinely a must have and the designs are so pretty.

> 3 dayWhy should you pay $50 for swaddle blankets when you can bring a bunch home from the hospital gratis? Thats what we kept asking ourselves. But after a few weeks when your little one(s) get just a touch bigger and kick just a touch stronger, youll realize that the size of the hospital issue swaddle blankets (or the many better patterned similar ones you can buy for half the price of these) arent big enough to get a tight swaddle. The aden + anais muslin blankets are much bigger, giving you much more material to use for wrapping your burrito. And the breathable fabric helps keep your baby from overheating (whoever told us that babies dont sweat lied). This is definitely a splurge product, but its one youre going to use on a regular and worth it. And if youre looking to cut corners cost wise, find a smaller pack not a lesser swaddle. Weve got twins and the 4-pack is more than enough for two.

Greater than one weekSo cute and they ended up being my favorite things I’ve bought for this baby! They are definitely on the expensive side for swaddles, but I just can’t get over how adorable they are! This was a splurge that I am glad that I am thankful for. I use these swaddles for everything, I cover up surfaces to put the baby down on, use it to cover the carrier so people don’t sneeze on her when going out and about, and of course I use it to make her a baby burrito when she is sleeping.

> 3 dayIve used several different kinds of baby blankets and receiving blankets for our first boy and found that nothing could keep him swaddled and comfortable especially during the summer months. I finally purchased the aden + anais swaddles from Target and those were great. We could get a tight swaddle when he was little and once he didnt need to be swaddled anymore, we could still use them as blankets. After 2 years, he still loves them! With baby #2, we decided to go with the classic ones since they are larger and love them just as much (if not more). Although they are more expensive, I have a closet full of baby blankets that were only used a couple of times and added up, costs a lot more than these. After a few months, they are getting softer and softer and is a great all around blanket. I use it to swaddle him, cover the car seat carrier, nursing cover and always keep one in the diaper bag. The patterns are very cute and love the animal print...it gives just enough color and playfulness to them.
