Greater than one weekI purchased these three years ago and Im now just writing a review. Why? Im still using them and all are holding up so extremely well. At first I purchased these as swaddling blankets/cloths and used them for changing diapers in area that had iffy surfaces out in public (Im looking at you restaurant and department store baby changer station). We have used these to sit on in the grass outside and on public park benches. My kids have used these as capes while playing superheros, and a light blanket in the hot summer months. Later they were used for tent and den making in the house - in addition to the sofa cushions, and as pretend play ghosties over the years. However, now that they have grown out of them, I use them. These are perfect for wrapping up medium-long hair after a shower, or for patting my face dry. Sure, the color has faded after three years, but all of them are in phenomenal shape considering how many washes theyve been through. Would I purchase these again - absolutely! These are also the first items I buy for other expectant moms.

> 3 dayWhy should you pay $50 for swaddle blankets when you can bring a bunch home from the hospital gratis? Thats what we kept asking ourselves. But after a few weeks when your little one(s) get just a touch bigger and kick just a touch stronger, youll realize that the size of the hospital issue swaddle blankets (or the many better patterned similar ones you can buy for half the price of these) arent big enough to get a tight swaddle. The aden + anais muslin blankets are much bigger, giving you much more material to use for wrapping your burrito. And the breathable fabric helps keep your baby from overheating (whoever told us that babies dont sweat lied). This is definitely a splurge product, but its one youre going to use on a regular and worth it. And if youre looking to cut corners cost wise, find a smaller pack not a lesser swaddle. Weve got twins and the 4-pack is more than enough for two.

12-11-2024These are a must-have new baby item. We use them for everything - car seat blankets, burp cloths, and swaddling! They are the perfect all-around, any-time-of-year blanket to use for babies of all ages. They are probably the safest and easiest-to-use swaddling blanket (and if you dont know how to swaddle, learn how now because it is what is helping our baby sleep through the night). For us, the pre-made swaddling contraptions (SwaddleMe, Miracle Blanket, etc) dont work because our daughter is a little Houdini and can easily break out of those. However, when we use A+A blankets and wrap her securely, she is snug as a bug and falls asleep instantly. The light-weight cotton is the safest material for a baby and makes this blanket perfect for all times of year. During the cold months we are using the blankets in conjunction with a sleep sack so baby can be swaddled and also warm. These are seriously the item we have used the most during our first 5 weeks. I freak out when they all simultaneously end up in the wash, so just ordered another set. They have been well worth the money. They will also be the item that Ill be purchasing for friends expecting a new baby. I initially thought $50 for blankets was absurd, but they are worth it.

> 3 dayThese blankets, plus the rocknplay, caused me to actually get enough sleep when I had a 2 year old and a newborn! I didnt want to worry about baby overheating, so I would lay this blanket in the rocknplay, then lay baby down, then wrap the blanket around him and tuck the sides in. It wasnt a true swaddle, but still kept him covered (just from the waist down), and he felt comfortably tucked in. He slept really well with this combination. I like that these arent heavy like flannel or fleece blankets, and they are not too warm. I find that they are big enough that they still cover my 3.5 year old if he wants to sleep with a light blanket. And they still look as good as new after many washings, for 2 years straight.

> 3 dayI just had my 3rd baby. My first, no way he would allow a swaddle and slept beautifully on his back. My second, was small and only liked swaddling from her waist down so you could swaddle her with about anything. My new, adorable bundle of joy absolutely refused to sleep on his back. Initially I gave in to letting him stomach sleep so I could at least get a nap during the day but really wanted to get him to sleep on his back. Everyone said a good tight swaddle would get him to sleep on his back. I tried it and it worked, but, the second he got a little bigger, no blanket could contain this little Houdini. I was on the verge of trying one of the swaddling blankets like the Miracle Blanket but it was sooo expensive for just one blanket that functioned for just one thing. As I read reviews, I came across the Aden + Anais swaddle wraps which had 5 stars and thought, what the heck, I was going to spend that much for just one blanket. The Aden + Anais muslin swaddle wraps are hands down, the BEST blankets and totally worth the money. They are huge but at the same time, any excess you have seems to just fold away without being lumpy. They are soft, lightweight, can be easily layered and man, they hold a swaddle like nothing else. As an added bonus, they come in a variety of patterns- the jungle animals I think are the cutest. If I had it to do all over again, I never would have bought the silly flannel swaddling blankets that everyone gives you- they dont hold a swaddle and are best used as burp cloths. I would have bought the Aden + Anais swaddle wraps from the start and plan to buy a set as my go to baby gift for everyone from now on!

> 3 dayI was given these as a shower gift, and now I give them as a gift for every shower I go to! Mothers like to share good secrets! These muslin wraps really are the perfect swaddler blanket. The blanket is so large (47x47), that it makes swaddling extremely easy. What I love, is that it allows you to swaddle the baby tightly but comfortably so they dont move around or roll over. My baby sleeps with her arms out and they wrap around her so nicely. I love that they are breathable muslin, I feel very safe leaving it in the crib with her. I am still using these swaddlers for our daughter who is now 7 months old. I dont know how a smaller blanket (such as a receiving blanket that others use) could work this good. A bonus is that they are extremely soft too! Another use for these large soft blankets are to use them as a cover over the stroller or car seat to block the sun, but at the same time it lets the air through. I have one set aside for outdoor & car use, it goes with me everywhere. A MUST HAVE FOR ALL BABIES. ** My daughter is now 21 month and her swaddle wrap has turned into her Blankie- she loves it!**

> 3 dayPurchased these for my daughter 8 years ago. Loved them so much. Purchased them for the birth of her half brother - they are just that good that I had to pass the discovery along. My daughter was swaddled in them, after as burp cloth, bib, play cloth, picknick, company blanked, Sun canopies and so on. She still loves them. Very useful.
