Greater than one weekThis is my first Acer. For someone who viewed Acer as a budget brand, this Predator Triton 500 SE has significantly changed my mind. It’s not perfect, but this is a very nice laptop! It’s expensive, but it’s still inline or even costs less than other brands with similar configurations.

> 3 dayThis is an excellent laptop for gaming, office or school. Its understated design (other than the fan outlets) help it fit in anywhere. It also delivers on speed, fabulous, fast & bright screen, good battery life, excellent keyboard & good sound (although, you will probably want headphones if the fans get humming during a long gaming session).

> 3 dayFirst off, the battery life doesnt last at all. Maybe 40min off of the charger. The LEDs broke after 3 weeks (i took good care of the laptop). It overheats running anything when plugged in. So either it dies or overheats.

25-10-2024The computer is Perfect, however the delivery was a botch! It was to come on Teusday but it came Monday. We had to travel to the UPS drop-off place to get it.

> 3 dayThis laptop has plenty of pros... Modern 12th Gen Intel CPU, NVidia 3080Ti (laptop version), plenty of RAM. They were a bit stingy on the SSD but 1TB will get you by for a while. The screen is a nice improvement over the laptop its replacing (close to years old). I was pleasantly surprised the only bloatware of significance was Norton, which I immediately got rid of - nobody needs that garbage.

> 3 dayThis computer would continually blue screen at least once a day. From the day I unboxed to the day I returned it. I would not recommend this. It was blue screening from the killer WiFi, from the predator turbo features and from windows hardware issues. It had been completely updated and only had wow installed. Which it could not even run above 60fps on ultra.

27-10-2024Its a powerhorse of a laptop. You will most likely never hit the maximum refresh rate of 300hz, but thats where the G-sync comes in so youll have virtually no screen-tear. Surprisingly cool since it does have three fans inside. Just be aware that you pretty much need to have it plugged in at all times to do anything.
