Only had it for a day. Havent done much but set up and install some apps. I will be using this to make videos. And the program seems to run great. I have been using this for about 2 weeks. I have a driver issue and I tried everything to fix but it still isnt fixed. It doesnt seem to be a hinder. After having it for a few weeks, I noticed I have a low battery life. Not a bid deal since I only use it at home, but could be if used somewhere with no plug in available.

I bought this for one of my younger sisters a few months ago and shes loved it so far. It runs the games she wants and she can use it for coding, for her schoolwork, and other general usage too. Weve placed games against each other online and this is definitely quieter than my Alienware (Alien v. Predator--I couldnt help myself when looking for a laptop for her and saw that this one was good). That said, my alien has two power intakes for more intense gaming and its noticeable if Im doing a lot, so it has the advantage there.

I have now purchased TWO of these laptops and neither worked. Screen flickering when not plugged in to the point its unusable. I have done trouble shooting but this is ridiculous for a computer I havent even gotten to use yet. Constantly logs me out when its not plugging in. Completely unusable. Screen flickers even when plugged in. I have done all the trouble shooting possible and the fact its due to a ERROR IN THE DESIGN due to the ram door is unacceptable for a computer that costs this much. DO NOT BUY. You can do better. Very disappointed.

Over the time I have had this laptop, I have yet to encounter any issue. The screen shows games and such beautifully, the speakers work wonderfully, and it can collect clear audio when need be. All in all, it is a great laptop.

CPU and GPU keeps running hot. Gotten Blue Screen of Death after 2nd day playing on line. Would not recommend for a real gamer. I am not and just started playing with my husband. Have cooling pad and all. Just mailed it back to Amazon today!

Despite the shining review score, this is not an ideal laptop for gaming, primarily because of the overheating. Even when paired with a cooling platform, it still overheats with games that really shouldnt be overdemanding to this gaming laptop. I dont know what the deal is since google delivers a million fixes for overheating, most of which make no sense. The games Ive played that overheat this machine include Raft, Terraria, Elder Scrolls Online, and Baldurs Gate 3. My second charger just died as a result of this (same as the original) - $50 down the drain, and another $50 for a third now. Whats the point of buying a $1200 gaming laptop if you cant play games on it?

The laptop kept crashing and giving blue screens of death from day one right out of the box. Couldnt fix despite doing all necessary updates and troubleshooting. Ended up returning to get a refund because i didnt want to even bother trying to get a new one after that.

Fans are not as quiet as I thought, but overall a great laptop.
