Their are definitely better gaming laptops out there but this one is just okay. I’m kinda stressed out. This is my 2nd time buying a nitro 5 and they just seem like they are prone to breaking. First one just shut off and never turned on after having it for a couple months, my second one the ram, cpu and screen started acting up pretty much just messing up the whole laptop, only with in a couple months again. I enjoyed gaming in it but for the price you can definitely get something better or build something better.

I use this at work so I dont use it often. Today out of no where it shut off and wont turn back on.

I had this laptop for 3 months then it died on me I can’t reinstall windows I took it to geek squad and they said there’s no way to fix it.

My son saved up for months to buy this computer. He was so excited when he finally had enough money! When it arrived, he plugged it in, eager to start gaming on his new laptop. Unfortunately, it never charged and it never turned out. So, we got a replacement. He was frustrated but willing to wait. The new one came quickly. However, the replacement had the exact same problem; it wouldnt turn on or charge. Now I have one very sad teenager on my hands and he is afraid to buy another laptop for fear of this happening again. Were not buying another Acer gaming laptop again.

Got the item and doesnt even work on arrival. packaging was horrible dont buy!

It did not work on arrival had to clean power terminal. Than 3 months in stopped working completely had to send it back for fix. When it worked a nice laptop. For price though not a great machine should work out of box and for years not a few months.

At this price, youll have a hard time finding the same raw power anywhere else. So far, Ive played No Mans Sky and Planetside 2 (at default settings) with no framerate issues that I can notice. Minecraft with RTX also works. It has a few framerate hiccups, but Ive seen the same from some desktop RTX cards.
