> 24 hourThis review is for the Acer Chromebook Spin 314 14 with 4GB of Ram and 128 GB of storage released in May of 2022. I see reviews for many other machines on this page. This one is a touchscreen Chromebook, unlike the earlier models in the Spin 314 line.

> 24 hourThis is my first Chromebook, and I have to say its impressive. Its quick and works for everything I wanted it for. The touchscreen is responsive, and I like that it can be folded back to watch videos, etc. Good unit at a reasonable price.

> 24 hourThis 14 Acer Flip Chromebook is my second Acer of five laptops. And by far the best. However, I learned today that Chrome;s purported security is a sham. And it will cost about $150 to rid it of SPAM. I clicked on a legitimate repair site to get instructions on how to remove an undercabinet microwave, and the malware attacked, Now, not only am I out the cost to clean but also the cost of a security program I highly recommend this computer. I also highly recommend you purchase security.

> 24 hourThis laptop is truly amazing. Granted its been about a decade since Ive gotten a new personal laptop, however what a time to be alive! This Chrome OS is truly undeniably fast and quick to start up. This is perfect if you hate loading time like I do. The transition from laptop to tablet and vice versa is seamless and natural. I do wish I had confirmation about whether I can put the tablet keyboard-down and not suffer any issues (none so far to report).

> 24 hourI got this laptop during the Cyber Monday sale as my first ever computer that doesnt have Windows on it. My desktop at home has Windows 10 on it but I havent turned it on yet since this Chromebook arrived last week since I wanted to give the Acer a fair chance and see how much I really miss Windows 10. So far, there hasnt been anything that has made me wish I was using Windows 10! The only times where I have felt a little bit inconvenienced is when I need to use Microsoft Office products. I say that I was only slightly inconvenienced because I am still able to use all of the Office programs (in multiple ways actually, now that there is Google Play Store support), they are just a different layout than I am used to and may not have some of the more extensive features that the Windows version has. For the vast majority of users, however, there will be a small adjustment period and then itll be fine after that.

> 24 hourBuild quality is solid. Its not a Mac or a Dell XPS but it also doesnt feel cheap or flimsy. The ability to flip into a large tablet is a great feature. The screen is above average and is full HD. Streaming looks wonderful. The keyboard is nice though I do wish it was backlit. It has a perfect amount of ports (USB-A, USB-C, HDMI, 3.5mm, SD) and charges via USB-C. The trackpad is extra large and works wonderfully. If Chrome OS is sufficient for your needs, this is an excellent laptop and streaming device.

> 24 hourI was able to find a Chromebook Spin 13 as an Open Box (but never taken out of the box) on EBay for $479. Id been agonizing between the hp x360 14 vs Asus flip c434, when I became aware of this. After some research, I quickly realized this is probably the best Chromebook (specwise) that you can get... and nobody really considers it because its largely for a Business Audience and the price isnt especially practical. If you are spending the retail price and you need something for business, youll probably get a Windows 10 machine. However, at $479 (no tax/free-shipping), it was a no brainer. High resolution screen, Stylus, Intel Processor, Fully convertible, back-lighted keyboard, great speakers, 10hrish life, great keyboard, etc... its really perfect. Would I have ever got one for $799? No, and Id have missed out. Anyway, if you can find one at a good price (or you just dont care about price), its pretty darned perfect if you want a Chromebook.
