Great Netflix device. Do note that it has a 3:2 aspect ratio.

This is my first experience with a Chromebook. I have plenty of experience with Mac and Windows laptops, so this is new to me. My first impression is: wow, this is really fast! It starts up in seconds, and programs open up instantly. The battery life is excellent, with around 10 hours from a single charge. The battery life indicator consistently calculates over 10 hours after I fully charge the laptop, so the marketing claim of 10 hours is accurate. The specs on this laptop are pretty impressive and the hardware goes even further because it doesnt have to run the bloat of Windows or MacOS. The operating system is designed such that it wont get bogged down over time. Most of the file storage is cloud-based, and all of your settings, browser bookmarks, etc. are synced to Google Drive by default so you can do a reset of the OS called a Power Wash at any time without losing anything, although I doubt will never need to do this.

Would not connect to my printer which is less than a year old. Otherwise, Chrome is so much better that Microsoft product. Chrome uses a different operating system. Good streaming and Internet. All my documents were saved from when I last used them.

This is our first tablet/laptop. Got this so my wife could start doing sketches and digital coloring as well as just being able to use it for web browsing. The set up was super easy and fast. We were able to sign into our wireless network and away we went. The touch screen is really responsive and the stylus isnt uncomfortable and feels nice in the hand. My kids love it for school work as well as just digital coloring. Its a good entry level tablet/laptop for sketching. I am not super techy so I cant speak to the hardware side of it, I just know its fast and we havent had any issues with space or speed. I will update if issues arise.

Build quality is solid. Its not a Mac or a Dell XPS but it also doesnt feel cheap or flimsy. The ability to flip into a large tablet is a great feature. The screen is above average and is full HD. Streaming looks wonderful. The keyboard is nice though I do wish it was backlit. It has a perfect amount of ports (USB-A, USB-C, HDMI, 3.5mm, SD) and charges via USB-C. The trackpad is extra large and works wonderfully. If Chrome OS is sufficient for your needs, this is an excellent laptop and streaming device.

Having used many different Chromebooks, this one has a lot of ports, which is great to have. But the screen quality is so-so and the trackpad is nice.

Ive been a Windows user since the beginning of computers and I didnt think I would ever switch. I was going to buy an iPad but I needed a laptop. When I heard about Chromebook, I did a lot of research and watched reviews on Youtube. I learned that this Chromebook has the features of iPad that I wanted, and regular laptop that I needed, so I finally decided to pull the trigger and shopped around for this specific model and spec, but I could not find it anywhere but Amazon, so I ordered it. I am very pleased with it. It is fast, easy to use, and very convenient. I can use it as an iPad and as a standard laptop. I downloaded all Office apps that I normally use in my old Windows computer (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) and I can access all files I created in Windows from my OneDrive. I highly recommend this laptop.

TL;DR: This computer is fine for a secondary device, but I would not recommend this to someone who is looking to travel with this or use this as their sole computer based on poor value and possible quality concerns.

I desperately need this Chromebook but cant pay the current price. This is an amazing machine. If only Amazon could discount it again for the Cyber Monday price Id buy it in a heartbeat. I was just too late researching Chromebooks and only discovered this beauty two days ago.
