> 3 daySo first thing, since I know some people will be wondering: this device CAN NOT be flashed to run Windows or Linux, at least at this time. It is not possible. Was one of the main reasons I got it, since I did not know that at the time, but I will make do, ChromeOS is workable nowadays. If you want a Chromebook to flash to Ubuntu or Windows or something, there are websites that break down which can and which cant.

> 3 dayEverything about how this is designed is very user friendly and its very much an affordable way to do basic every day computer tasks without needing to invest in a high end machine. Its responsive and Ive had no troubles at all doing all my normal every day work tasks with it. Wifi card inside does a great job of logging in and staying connected to any signal Ive used it with. The keyboard can flip around and the computer goes into tablet mode. Very easy to do with no extra steps needed. Its thin and super easy to take along, not weighing very much. A very portable machine, so great when I need to travel. Ive been using this for a few months now and Im happy with it!

Greater than one weekWe really like this for the size convenience. We utilize this with cloud drives and in the court room to avoid carrying a large laptop . Really wish this was more powerful, can’t handle MS Office (can’t install it) and that is too bad since using the provided softwares aren’t friendly

> 3 dayWorked great for the first month, then started shutting down, and losing the OS, telling me it was either gone or corrupt. Would NOT recommend this. Since it worked for the initial month, it was past the return to Amazon date, so now I have to go through Acer to get it fixed. Way more hassle than I expected when I bought it.

> 3 dayIm strictly rating the Chromebook; not Chrome OS. Chrome OS has its own issues. Overall, a decent mid-range Chromebook. It seems to be all plastic construction for the body. The screen quality is okay and the viewing angle tolerable. The viewing angle seems to be better left to right than up and down for some reason. The keyboard flips all the way around to use this as a tablet (yes, keyboard disables in this mode). It is definitely heavier and bulkier than an iPad would be. The sound is absolutely horrible on this model. Dont expect to sit around with a few people and watch anything on it. The volume doesnt get very loud. Okay for watching something on your own.
