It’s fast and works very well for the price. I can surf the web, check emails, watch videos, do my college assignments, and even play The Sims 4 with no issues. The only thing I don’t like is that the R and E keys are backwards. That’s so unnecessary and very annoying. I almost returned the laptop because of this. It just irks me so much.

SO this has an IPS monitor which gives you higher definition and clarity than an LED monitor. But also it uses more energy and these types of monitors are known for heating up and overheating which can cause premature failure. To further add to this issue, some genius put its heat fan pointed RIGHT at the front of the monitor. Ive never seen this in a laptop and dont understand why they couldnt vent it out the side or even reposition the monitor slightly so they could vent the heat out the back. Im really hoping that the heat blowing onto the monitor thats already known for heat issues isnt gonna be an issue. Within a few short minutes of regular browsing, its fan is blowing non-stop and the bottom part of the actual computer screen is getting hot because of the exhaust fan.

I got this laptop as a my new HTPC, all I needed was a good processor, enough RAM and disk space. This fitted all three for the best price. I had some trouble installing Windows 11 on it because of some drivers but this was fixed by getting the drivers from Acer website, which isnt very good. The USB port on the right side malfunctions sometimes and has a weird fit. This laptop is extremely light for a 15. Like most laptops the onboard speakers are awful. Screen is quite good.

First of all, this PC might be OK for kids or students who just do homework and surf on the webs, but not for heavy tasks require faster processor or memory speed or anything more than 2GHZ ish. Just few things; there are many people complained about R/E keys are misplaced, well, please read PC description, they are placed in backward on purpose. Second, this PCs fan makes loud noise than you probably expected. I had to reduced max processor to 70%, otherwise it will drive you crazy. Third, its actual processor speed is only 2.9GHZ and memory speed is 2.6, so make sure if this is suitable for your tasks. Its description says 5 GHz that doesnt mean its 5GHZ process speed. And last, as other viewers mentioned, its speaker is very low and PC is quite heavy. I ended up return it, I decided to pay more for a faster PC instead.

first time buyer for a computer/laptop. wanted something that had the hardware to run simple non demanding games, and that i could use for work and streaming. this choice was obvious because the specs were great compared to other highly rated laptops and also HAS a GPU albeit, one of the worser ones. has lots of initial ram, built to be customizable, good amount of SSD storage, pretty good.

The Acer is perfect for our needs. It is fast and easy to use, we can see the keys easily and they also light up. Very satisfied with our purchase.

It should be black . The specs seen good to me .

Laptop came on time and has been working perfectly until I opened it recently and the screen is coming apart - the two layers of the screen is coming apart whenever I open the laptop. Looks like the hinge is causing it. I have to snap the two pieces back together and open it slowly and gingerly. So far it still works but I can’t open it all the way if not it doesn’t slap apart

Honestly, it’s a solid laptop for its price point. I7 processor, decent RAM and SSD? It’s a good deal, plus I was able to upgrade the ram so I’m happy overall
