Great everyday usable laptop with great features. Sufficient screen size, great features and affordable.

the laptop is fast, but the battery dies out quickly! Only a few hours then I need to charge. Also this is new, I cannot imagine after some use how the battery will survive.

I have attempted a refund. Noisy computer while I had it.

Two days since I received my Acer Aspire5 laptop and I am very happy with it so far. It replaces an HP 2019 17 laptop with an all plastic case that was literally falling apart. This Aspire feels much more sturdy with its metal case, is lighter and more transportable than the HP, and from a performance standpoint is running circles around the the HP. Great price, great performance, easy setup, its all good man!

For the guy who complained about his purchase. I really believe that you laid the laptop on a flat surface for too long and let it overheat and that is why it stopped working. I almost made the same mistake however it is still working no problems to speak of. Anyone purchasing any laptop needs a portable cooling system under it. They are available for $20 and up.

The feature that is important to me is the back light on keyboard. Great laptop

Great laptop! I had the acer aspire e before this so the difference is like night and day, cant fault the seller at all everything about my order was 5 stars!

The overall laptop specs were good based on the price. However, what made me gave it a low rating is that the company might have falsely marketed some of the spec details. I dont know if that was a typo on their part or if it was false advertisement. For example the memory (GB) that was stated in the specs on Amazon was different from the real specs (much lower) that was in the laptop. It also came with an internal hard drive that was separate from the laptop, thus we had to manually open the laptop up and install the hard drive. It also took weeks to get my refund back.

My Dell Inspiron finally took a dump after 7 years which is pretty incredible considering how far computers have come since it was new. I have been looking around for a replacement since last summer and had narrowed it down to this and an Asus. My employer purchased this for me with the idea that it would be used both for and outside of the office. I didnt want to go with a Mac because Ive been using Windows products most of my life. Sure, Windows is a love hate love hate hate relationship but thats another story!
