> 3 dayno one expects these cheap little brushes to last. they are ok for what they cost, however make sure you rare wearing eye protection, you will be peppered with flying pieces as you work. the pieces will also get in your cloths, so wear an apron.

> 3 dayI read previous reviews on this product and many stated that the rotary brushes are junk. I find these brushes ok but do come apart and throw the wire strands. I have purchased similar brushes from McMaster Carr; although theirs was considerably more expensive, they lasted about 5 times longer (wire strands were thrown as well but much less). So the bottom line is: you get more brushes here for the money but you go thru more to complete the job. The bigger negative is all the wire strands that are thrown!

> 3 dayI love this set. I used to revitalize door hardware on a 100 year old home and it worked GREAT. When using the wire wheels, protect yourself. Wire flys everywhere, which is normal for that brush. I have seen some reviews where consumers thought that was faulty but its normal. Safety wise, protect yourself otherwise youll be pulling small pieces of wire out of your clothing.

> 3 dayIve been using these for removing flash rust and a bit of residual paint from cast iron parts that I have stripped for repainting. These parts have mostly rough finish from the sand casting process so they are a challenge to small brushes. They have a lot of inside corners and other features that benefit from a small brush on a rotary tool. I have found that these Rocaris brushes have similar life as the brand name brushes that I have bought 2 to a pack. The key is that I use a variable speed tool on the lowest speed. Low speed is adequate for this type of work. If youre impatient and using high speed, then it would be no surprise if the wires shoot out.

Greater than one weekI was excited to receive these since there were 60 pcs for about $20, instead of $5 per wheel for the Dremel brand wheels. My project was removing rust from heavy iron grilling grates. I had already used the only two wire brush heads that came with my original Dremel Tool set, they were enough to almost finish one whole grate (in the first pic) front and back. When I got this set, after less than 10 minutes eight brushes were already worn out (they only lasted a couple minutes each, and one of the brush heads flew out altogether the first moment it made contact with the grate (in the second pic). Additionally (and nearly as frustrating) while I was working with them, I could feel the tiny wires (in the third pic) flying off the brush head and hitting me in the face/neck/body. After I decided to stop because I could tell I was gonna burn through the whole set and not even finish a single grate, it took me about 20 minutes to stand there and pull out dozens and dozens of tiny steel wires from my clothes and skin. And if you dont take them out they stay in your clothes and feel like needles are pricking you throughout the day. Unfortunately this was a terrible product for me. Im surprised the other reviews are so positive. Maybe if youre only using them for something very light duty, they might work better, but I dont see the point of a light duty carbon steel wire brush.

> 3 dayWow these little brushes do a amazing job on rust removal in tight spots. Extremely happy with them 3 tires later and still on the same brush so good durability imo.

> 3 dayThese wire wheels are very cheaply made - I guess thats why they cost $.28/piece. They work fairly well on a 2-speed Dremel rotary tool on LOW speed, but when you go to HIGH speed they fall apart. Literally. I was using these brushes to clean out old lock tite and gasket seal from the threads on M6 and M8 engine casing bolts before reinstalling the bolts. I switched to HIGH speed and I was suddenly being pelted by metal fibers! I had metal fibers stuck all over my shirt, and the wire brush ended up looking like a porcupine that was having a very bad day. Not recommended unless youre only going to use these brushes on LOW speed.
