> 3 dayIt was my first time using a hole saw so had to fiddle to figure it out. I get it that its a tool and may not necessarily come with instructions but it would be nice to have as some parts are not intuitive. I put the drill bit assemby it came with and hole saw bit together the first time with the result if it being loose. I flipped one of the threaded components (the bolt) and it came out tighter. It was also odd that tightening is by turning left instead of right. This may be standard with other kits but I find that the starter drill bit could be shorter, perhaps I can find an adapter and use my other drill bits. So far only used one but it seems to work fine. Good variety if sizes.

> 3 dayThese are definitely more cheaply made than my standalone hole saws for going through hard materials, but it is very convenient to have all these sizes in one case. That makes them better than the random ones I have from different tool sets. They are sturdy enough for soft wood cutting, though not very deep. Making holes for electrical boxes and that sort of thing is no problem. If you just use a hole saw here and there, this is a good purchase.

03-11-2024This is a heavy duty high quality hole saw. I have purchased several bi-metal hole saws but this is extra heavy duty and included an arbor mandrel. Some people commented here that this hole saw did not work well on metal. I used this hole saw to cut 22 gauge steel and it worked great. Highly recommend this hole saw.

> 3 dayIve had several sets of hole saws in the past but never one set that had everything I could possibly need or want. Like all all generic hole saws, this one looks like stamped metal form. What i like is that it has so many sizes and each one steps up in larger increments. I use these to make precision hole cuts in furniture like desks or cabinets to hide electrical wires out of sight. Often at work im the guy who has tools to properly run computer cables so you dont have wires hanging all over the desk. I also use these to make holes in cars to run wire looms for speakers, amps or back up lights. I also use these to make plate cover holes behind wall hanging televisions and snake wires thru walls from lower power outlets to run new power to behind the TV and of course for Satellite, Antennae or internet cabling. My brother uses the largest hole saw to install retro can lights in ceilings. Now I will do same for myself. I like the blister box package that holds everything. Much nicer than some of my previous purchase from discount box stores. As you can see this one has a nice plate with two studs on them that mount to the larger hole saws. This prevents stripping of the saws hole when you encounter a difficult cut in harder material. Yes, you could buy specialty hole saws that are magnificently made. But for the price of one or two of those specialty ones, you can buy a whole set. Honestly, how often do you use a specialty tool? If you are a pro, often. This is great for a homeowner. You can experiment with home projects and make them look more professional.

Greater than one weekMild annoyance - the size description of each piece is printed on the exterior side of the piece. But after using it once, the ink on the sides gets marred and smeared from friction and you can no longer read it. Bad design choice there, Stamping would make these 5star

> 3 dayCheck the exact size you need to cut out holes for LED spots. I needed a cut-out for 8 LED, but this one did not fit. The hole is too small and I will need to buy another hole saw. This hole saw is 203 mm.

> 3 dayMy unit came brand new and shrink wrapped but missing the small mandrel. I don’t need the small sizes, so it didn’t matter to me. But if you plan to use the smaller size holes, beware!
