I’m a nurse, and wear sneakers every day. They are pretty stinky by the time I get home, and I’ve tried everything! I buy two sets of shoes, so I can rotate them and let them dry out in between uses. I’ve tried sneaker deodorizing balls, which help, but not totally. I have tried several shoe deodorizing sprays, including Norwegian, and I have used Odor Eaters. Also all of these in combination. These charcoal deodorizing packets are wonderful!! My shoes smell great, my closet smells great, and I don’t have to use a spray anymore. I’ve only had these for a short time, and I don’t know how long they will last, but for right now they are phenomenal.

I was a skeptic at first. I didnt believe that this would actually work in reducing the smell in my stinky shoes or completely getting rid of them. I have really smelly feet. It could be a combination of wearing the wrong socks that dont really breath, to only wearing one shoe to wearing them for everything a total of 12+ hours a day. Beating my shoes up and trapping all the sweat in to create the perfect scenario for your shoes to smell like stinky tofu. I was on therapy on using deodorant on the soles of my feet to the bottom of my socks to actually prevent a lot of sweat from forming. (it actually helps in minimizing the odor from your feet and reduces the smell in the shoe) I also changed my socks out every 4-6 hours and placed it in a bag, that seemed to help also. The two main things that REALLY helped were buying more shoes and swapping them out daily and using the Marsheepy charcoal pads. They tend to actually absorb the dampness and the smell pretty well. From a stink level of 10/10 (10 being the max stinkiness), it brought it down tremendously from 10 to a good 3-2. Its not noticeable anymore from 10 feet away you have to be right next to it to actually get a good smell of it now. I place some of these in the bathroom of my house and my work and they tend to make those rooms smells decent now. I also place these in my gym bag and my laundry basket. It reduces the smell down to barely noticeable. I highly suggest getting these to just absorb the weird odors and smells from a high schooler or someone who smells.

These work freakishly well. I wear Vans as my everyday driver, which is a canvas shoe - and my aging shoes, though still holding up physically, were beginning to collect a noticeable scent in the canvas. I didnt want to spray deodorizing chemicals all over my shoes, but also hated the idea of throwing away perfectly functional shoes. Enter these little gems. I was frankly pretty skeptical when I came across them, but figured they were cheap and worth a try. Boy am I glad I gave them the shot. My Vans went from smelling like straight feet to smelling like plain, if slightly old, canvas. What a difference! These are now in all my shoes, my gym bag, my weekend bag that sometimes has to hold dirty laundry... pretty much anywhere I can think of tossing one to absorb scents.

I must have gotten a dud. The first time I ordered this, it worked well, and now I opened them and couldnt smell a thing. I put them out in sunlight for hours, but it still made no difference. I even cut open one of the new ones, but the charcoal still didnt give off any scent. I know I can smell things OK, because I could still smell the old ones that I had been using for months. Its odd because they arrived well-sealed, so its not like theyve already been exposed to the air for a while and lost their scent.

These work great! No odor in my shoes at all.

These are well made and durable (my cat tried to tear into them to no avail). I will say, however, that they work great in that they hide the walking by smell i.e. they block odor that is strong from people smelling it. They are not great at actually getting rid of the smell up close. Example: I use my lift trainers 4-5 times a week and come home with them smelling and put the purifying bags in them. No smell if your passing by. If you get up close and smell them they do still stink. Updated: added a couple stars due to seller response. They believe in their product, even if I dont and they did what they could to resolve my complaint. I dont know if I just got a dud or what. I left all 12 bags out all day in direct sunlight as directed. Couldnt even smell them a little bit. Tried to use them anyway. Put some in a shoe locker, and some directly in the shoes. It has had zero effect. Waste of money.

No odor or scent….just takes the stinky workout odor from my gym shoes perfectly!

I ordered these for my moms closet. Her closest is connected to her master bathroom, which receives plenty of humidity and has no ventilation. It made everything in that closet smell like old moldy clothes. She cleaned out all the dirt and grim, I kid you not the smell was gone after 3 days of placing these charcoal packs in her closet! I was skeptical at first, but they really do work! Follow the instructions and you should also have the same results. I have a very sensitive nose and there was no more bad scents left, going to be ordering some more for around the house

They work. Im constantly replacing them once they get a good soak in the sun. I place them in my shoes and use them to store all winter boots and the shoes nor the container have no odor when the season comes around again!
