> 24 hourI wear a lot of shoes without socks. My shoes were starting to stink really bad. I bought these charcoal bags, placed them in the sun like the instructions suggest, and placed them in six pairs of shoes. Im happy to report that my shoes no longer smell like stinky, sweaty feet. There is a little odor still, but youll have that just from wearing the shoes. I am now buying another set of these since I just bought six more pairs of shoes. Would highly recommend!!

> 24 hourI must have gotten a dud. The first time I ordered this, it worked well, and now I opened them and couldnt smell a thing. I put them out in sunlight for hours, but it still made no difference. I even cut open one of the new ones, but the charcoal still didnt give off any scent. I know I can smell things OK, because I could still smell the old ones that I had been using for months. Its odd because they arrived well-sealed, so its not like theyve already been exposed to the air for a while and lost their scent.

> 24 hourI liked the product and reused it on smelly Slippers. When I tried to reactivate the coal it did did not work well. It reactivates in the sunlight and I live a rainy winter climate . Oops

> 24 hourI was a skeptic at first. I didnt believe that this would actually work in reducing the smell in my stinky shoes or completely getting rid of them. I have really smelly feet. It could be a combination of wearing the wrong socks that dont really breath, to only wearing one shoe to wearing them for everything a total of 12+ hours a day. Beating my shoes up and trapping all the sweat in to create the perfect scenario for your shoes to smell like stinky tofu. I was on therapy on using deodorant on the soles of my feet to the bottom of my socks to actually prevent a lot of sweat from forming. (it actually helps in minimizing the odor from your feet and reduces the smell in the shoe) I also changed my socks out every 4-6 hours and placed it in a bag, that seemed to help also. The two main things that REALLY helped were buying more shoes and swapping them out daily and using the Marsheepy charcoal pads. They tend to actually absorb the dampness and the smell pretty well. From a stink level of 10/10 (10 being the max stinkiness), it brought it down tremendously from 10 to a good 3-2. Its not noticeable anymore from 10 feet away you have to be right next to it to actually get a good smell of it now. I place some of these in the bathroom of my house and my work and they tend to make those rooms smells decent now. I also place these in my gym bag and my laundry basket. It reduces the smell down to barely noticeable. I highly suggest getting these to just absorb the weird odors and smells from a high schooler or someone who smells.

> 24 hourThis product is pretty good, it works very well with the newer sneakers I have and keeps them from becoming too stinky. However, if you have some super stinky shoes that youve been sweating in every day for a while, it will not fix that...the damage is done, get some new shoes and start over with these bags.

> 24 hourEarlier in the year I got a treadmill to start getting back into shape. I have a pair of running shoes set aside specifically for use on the treadmill. I started noticing a slight smell from the shoes around May. I figured being worn 4 or 5 times a week, maybe I needed to get a second pair to rotate between use to let them thoroughly dry. In June, I started noticing a smell in the shoes again, so started looking into ways to keep the smell at bay and ensure they were free of any fungus that could cause problems with my feet. This was especially important as im now running 5 miles every day on the treadmill. I saw these bamboo charcoal bags rated highly, so I decided to give them a try. They arrived quickly through amazon prime. Following the instructions included, I left the individual bags in the sun for a few hours to activate the charcoal. I then place a pair in each of my shoes. After just a few days, I noticed the shoes had no smell at all. Seriously, no smell, I put them right up to my face and nothing. It has been over a month now they still work great. The instructions indicate to put the bags back in the sun for a few hours once a month to refresh the charcoal. Ive done that once so far and no issues or smells to comment on. They seem to be working great. The package had a bunch of them included, so i gave some to my wife to put in her shoes as well. Im very happy with the outcome of this product and highly recommend them.

> 24 hourI bought these to help eliminate this lingering onion/garlic scent from my kitchen drawers that was left by the previous apartment renter. After cleaning out the drawers and using baking soda and vinegar to try and eliminate it but those methods didn’t work. So I was skeptical when I purchased these but reading the highly rated reviews made me give it a try. I’m glad that I did because the drawers don’t have the smell anymore. They still smell a bit like stale wood though but the main problem is pretty much eliminated.

> 24 hourIt seems to work really well on newer pairs of shoes but my older shoes still have a smell to them.

> 24 hourWe tried these for a pair of new shoes we bought on marketplace, but they had a strong cigarette smell to them. We were hoping they would work on the shoes, and after a few attempts, there was barely any improvement. I’m not that upset as this was an attempt to help. However, would not recommend.
