> 24 hourI used this to protect a plaster cast for my leg. I followed directions and it worked. No water got inside the protector. I used it a second time and it worked perfectly again. I chose this product because it was made in the USA, and that is very important to me for every purchase I make!

> 24 hourI had expected the opening to stretch but so far after a week of use, it has maintained its shape and has been keeping the water out!

> 24 hourI have several wounds of various sizes on my legs. This product has made it possible to more easily shower. I used a similar product prior that was much more cumbersome that requires assistance to put on and remove.

> 24 hourUpdate*** I now do the same as below but also add the second cover completely over the first and the towel. With this I can sit directly under the shower head. No water is getting in. I don’t even need to elevate my foot. The towel is probably not necessary but I like the peace of mind it gives in case water gets in the first cover. It will absorb it and change color so I can deal with it immediately. This is close to a real shower which is so nice given I have such little joy right now and love showers. I have used this about 8 times and have no complaints. It fit over my swelling cast as well as my fiberglass foot to knee cast, and the top has not stretched out so far. To make sure 100% that no water gets in, I roll up a microfiber towel under the opening. Any towel will do if not very bulky. I sit on a shower seat and keep my foot up on the tub edge and fill up a watering can and pour it over me. I think this cover may last the 10 weeks I will need it for. The convenience of this over using a trash bag is well worth the money spent. On a side note, I noticed that the first few times I used it my foot “felt” wet even though it was absolutely dry. It’s a trick your brain plays on you because it expects it to be wet. It’s faded as this becomes my new routine.

> 24 hourThis was pretty easy to figure out. Taking the time to properly put on the sleeve is key. Recommend having a stool or better yet plastic chair with armrests in the shower for best safety and stability. This unit kept the dressing area dry as promised.

> 24 hourPurchased this product to cover my boot while on vacation in Panamá. Two covers came in the box. I used the first one to keep my boot dry on a rainy day, and it worked exactly as I had hoped. After a day of light “walking” on it in combination with crutches, I did wear a hole in the bottom, but it still kept everything dry (water doesn’t jump upwards, and the hole was on the bottom, so only the sole of the boot saw any water at all). Second cover had to work a bit harder. I wore it for our snorkeling day. There was a downpour on the way to the boat/on the boat, a wet landing (no dock, had to go over the side of the boat into the shallow water to get to the beach), hobbling around a sandy beach, sitting in the sun for about 2 hours, and then wading back through the water to get back on the boat. It held up until that last bit - I again must have worn a hole in it somewhere, and when I submerged my leg in the water to get on the boat some water got in. Still, it was only enough to get my toes wet, and drained back out. Overall, given the tough circumstances I put it through, I am still very happy with how dry it kept my boot overall. It went in over the boot fairly easy, the seal at the top was good (although I cannot explain how it works, just know that it does!), and I can well see this lasting many a use for lighter wear such as in the shower or keeping in your purse in case you get caught in the rain. The trade off on cost plus packing/carrying something small and lightweight definitely made this a better choice than some of the other, more “rugged” options.

> 24 hourI was nervous the first time I used it, but after that I was confident it would not get my cast wet. Easy to use and priced great!

> 24 hourWorks exactly as described. I’ve used the same one for 2 showers and it still seals as it should. I got 2 boxes in case but I’m going to see how long one lasts.
