You get what you pay for. Drill bit broke, set screw stripped, don’t plan on going through anything other than a wet paper bag with these.

There are no directions for first time users. They are not very sharp so took quite a while to get through the wood. Leaves the wood very chipped around the hole. I am not experienced enough to know if thats normal. It came quickly from the seller.

The kit got me through one job I needed it for, thats the only reason I gave it 2 stars. The center drill bit broke out, the set screw that hold it in place wont get tight enough to keep it from spinning without stripping out the allen head. Overall, buy a better quality set if you can.

I was needing to drill assorted size holes in 2 pvc piping. This set worked perfectly for that project.

Ive used two sizes so far and no complaints at all. For my occasional use, this was a great purchase.

I tried to use this for the first time yesterday. I cant use the smallest hole cutter. The bit/mandril that comes with the set is thick. When you put it into the smaller of the two shanks, the small hex screw wont tighten flush. Consequently, the smaller hole cutters wont fit. The non-flush screw prevents the hole cutter from fitting onto the shank. The smaller hole cutters dont fit onto the larger shank. I tried using a smaller bit from my tools, but that didnt work. This would be a great set if it had a thinner bit for the smaller cutters.

Tried drilling a hole in 1/4 inch wood. Product fails. Tried with another one. Product fails again. Amazon wants to charge me $7.99 to return this $18.00 purchase just to add insult to injury. Absolutely disgusting quality.

Metal is too thin and bends. Used the 2.5 to make a hole in 1 plywood and saw shank bent making the saw teeth not flat against the board. Then the shank ripped through the flat portions that keep the saw from rotating around the shank, becoming useless. I didnt even finish the first hole I was cutting. Next up I tried putting the drill bit in the small arbor to use the 1 hole saw. The set screw sticks out enough to interfere with the locking nut making everything uneven and unbalanced. Totally useless.

So I bought this product - gasp - to drill holes. There are two shanks, one of which is for the larger saws, and one for the smaller saws. The larger one works okay. The smaller one is utter and complete, well, fertilizer. So the way it works is this: the little drill bit has an indentation on it. You stick the drill bit into the shank, and then tighten down a little allen screw to hold the drill bit in. But the allen screw isnt flush to the surface of the shank. This leads to two problems. The first is that the allen screw is softer than a babys bottom. Any pressure at all and it just strips out. The second problem is that you cant slide the saw down over the shank when the allen screw is protruding. So what you end up with is a drill that you can only barely make work, if at all. Its garbage. Utter and complete garbage. I tried to think of ways to get around the problem and I managed to make the holes I needed. Its really not well suited for the kind of plastic I had to drill into - it seemed to actually melt the plastic and bunch it up around the edge. That was easily fixed with a file, so that one is just a lesson learned. But the fact that it has zero durability and is pretty much unfit for purpose is a deal breaker. Im probably going to order a better set and run over this one with a truck. With this kind of durability, no way will it damage the tires.
