I bought one of these for my iPad air gen 3. This iPad goes with me in my briefcase when I travel and I travel internationally. This iPad is my second monitor (using Duet) in hotels and it also gets used when Im at home. I have dropped it several times and plus my briefcase does get banged around when I stuff it under airplane seats and in overhead bins. So far it has kept my iPad safe. My only knock down on the rating is for the plastic welding. It is coming undone.

perfect case for me and my kids, we bought 2 of them... Magnets in all the right places..has spots for all the buttons.. has the flip out stand thing with grooves for different angles.. can hold either pencil.. can still plug it in to charge and use the camera... Its great..
