ZUGU CASE for iPad Air Gen 4 & 5 10.9 Inch (2020/2022) - Protective, Ultra Thin, Magnetic Stand, Sleep/Wake Cover - Black

I’ve had the case for many months with a lot of use, the hinge and angle viewing systems work well with no slipping. The magnetic locks for closure and angle viewing are first rate, very secure. BUT, the real proof of value came today at 3am when I accelerated onto the freeway causing the incased ipad to become airborne as I had foolishly placed it on the roof of my car during the loading of additional vacation items. In an O’my god what have I done realization,,,,, I returned to the motel and after retracing my route found it slightly scuffed in the middle of the freeway. Fortunately I-580 in Carson NV. has little traffic at 3am and all is well. The only possible negative is it is a bit heavy, but only a bit, not really an issue. It is slightly and only slightly larger than the minimalist cases. As they say I am a happy camper.

Most stable. Most wonderful cover BUT, not a perfect fit ! Particularly with volume buttons. I kept it because it’s sooo stable when put under the angle. Maybe I got a. ”lemon“.!? I don’t know!

I didnt rate the durably as 5, because I dont know how long it will last before coming apart like my last one (it started to pull apart after 2 and 1/2 years- the material pulled apart ).. Same holds true for sturdiness. In general it is a a good case and fits well However, it is somewhat difficult to open, since there isnt a tab to easily open it. I gave it an overall rating of 4 stars based on my prior purchase. It is light weight. However, I DID buy another one, but I think its shelf-life, at the most is 3 years. I only boutght another one, because I bought a new iPad Air. Well see how it wears. Hopefully, longer than my last one & my last iPad.

Love the purple color and sturdiness of this very functional cover. However, I will probably buy a second case for travel because the magnets on the stand are SO HEAVY.
