Cannot comment about durability as i just received the case today. It totally surrounds the iPad and looks to give very good protection. The magnetic device for propping it up is a nice feature, when you set it, it stays in place. I wish it were a little easier to insert and remove the ipad as I have an Apple Magic Keyboard, that I like and will use some, although not every day. For carry i like this ZUGU case as it is smaller and lighter in weight and actually appears to give better protection than my Magic Keyboard in a Pad and Quill leather cover, maybe overkill, but at $1300 for an ipad I want plenty of protectioin

I purchased this case to protect my investment. iPads aren’t cheap, especially the iPad Pro. It’s sleek, and not bulky. Love everything about it. It’s pricey, but it has everything I want.
