Wish it didnt cost as much as it did but given the market as of late it was better than some hundreds of dollars more for other gpus

You cant do any better than this card without external power. Period. There are a lot of detractors out there, but I think theyre missing the point. I am very happy with my purchase.

Training is twice as fast, compared to GTX1050, for ResNet-50 (using the same config file)

I got this thing very brefily after it launched in 2019. It just recently started to die now at the halfway mark of 2021, but to be fair I was running games like BF1, Warzone, Apex, etc. on Low-Medium settings with a consitent 60fps on this thing in a case with pretty bad airflow; so despite its demise Id say I got more than I could ask for out of this card. Especially given the countless horror stories ive seen about the LP 1650s from MSI and Gigabyte. For MSRP this thing was great, so I would wait for prices to drop before buying, however.

Horrible performance! Only lasted about 6 months. I dont recommend it.

The card is barely worth $160 but regardless its a pretty decent little card, I can run some vr titles and some decent games that high settings, so Im pretty happy with it
