Sides too deep. Very easy for tort to turn upside down and drown.

I initially didnt like it, but the baby box turtle does!

I dont know about turtles in general but we have a baby box turtle that lives around our house. So I bought this and some food for him - just because we love him - and he LOVED this thing!! OMG he stayed in it and drank and hung out for a long time. I am happy I bought this for our little friend.

Update: I returned this item and nowhere here does it say what their return policy is. When I initiated the return, it does not tell you the policy. There was no charges. Once I received my return it was only 5$ ! Hidden fees included- initial shipping, return shipping and 15% restock fee. All of this taken from the original price you paid. Complete SCAM so they still get your money. Make sure this is what you want, if not just throw your money out the window. I have a red foot tortoise who’s only one year old and he does not fit in this AT ALL! Definitely not the size water bowl I was looking. I put him in it just to show how little this bowl is. This is more suitable for a reptile the size of maybe a leopard gecko but nothing bigger than that.
