Zoo Med ReptiTherm Under Tank Heater, Medium

> 24 hourI like everything about this heating pad except for the adhesion. This is replacing one that had the same issue and it’s replacement stayed adhered, but eventually just quit working. At the time of adhering the original one, I only had the tank on the tiny spacers that come with the product. The company did replace it and my husband welded a stand that allows for much more air flow. The replacement worked for about a year then quit. I ordered this one and after about 6 weeks it has fallen right off the tank. I do have one other tank with one on it and it is still adhered. When it works it is great and I’m completely satisfied, but 2 of 4 have come loose with what I thought was proper ventilation and 1 of 4 just stopped working.

> 24 hourSeems to be working as expected for our gecko. We have another thermometer mounted and it seems accurate to the reading on the pad monitor.

> 24 hourThe description says this is an 8x12 heater for a 30-40 gallon aquarium, but I received a smaller heater for a 10-20 gallon aquarium. I reported the item was wrong and asked for a replacement, but got the same thing again. Zoo Med sells the 30-40 gallon size as a medium heater. This seller is selling a smaller heater but calling it medium.

> 24 hourStays nice and hot, no issues there. Problem is the adhesive is not strong enough to keep it stuck on the bottom of the tank when the mat warps from heat about a year in. Dont have a lot of options so this may be as good as it gets... Note: for new reptile owners, you WILL need to buy a thermostat for this to control temperature, it gets hot! Up to 130F easily.

> 24 hourPerfect for attaching to the back of a 29 gallon for our giant Madagascar day geckos. I found a bamboo drawer organizer to put against the glass so they dont burn their bellies. They mostly hang out right over where the corners of the mat are. I like that its large enough they can go to the nice toasty middle or a cooler corner area.
