Original product I received was dead on arrival. Company promptly shipped me a replacement with no hassle. Did not have to return the defective one, leaving me with an extra bulb. Highly recommend this company and product.

I have this fixture over one end of my hatchling turtle 20g long tank-I like to give them the choice of whether to stay under it or not, just like with a basking spot. These T5 HO uvb lamps are my favorite over the regular t8 and especially the compact fluorescent lights. A big bonus for me is that they are basically twice as bright as a regular fluorescent, so plants grow really well under them. This seems to be a high quality fixture and it came with one t5 5.0 bulb.

Worked well for 2 months then totally stopped working. Thought it was the bulb but no.

Hood s DOA, changing outlets and bulbs did not bring it to life.

The light is great. I just wish the cord was a bit longer because of how my reptile room is set up. I have to daisy chain another extension cord.
