Zoo Med Nano Ceramic Heat Emitter, 40 Watt

I use this in a 10 gallon and it’s great for supplemental heat! The ambient temp range is 75-85F which works for my snake to keep him warm overnight and throughout the day along with his heat pad. The nano CHE is also very cute!

This size is best for 10 gallon tanks or if you have a nice high basking spot in your 20 gallon. It warms pretty fair, but I live in a rather cold home and I need something stronger.

I bought this for my grow-out tank for the baby brown anole I rescued, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked. My tank is approximately 12 inches tall and it heated the space adequately for a tropical species despite being placed in a normally sized zoomed heat fixture. It has been running continuously for about 4 months now without any noticeable fluctuations or faults.

Title says 40 watt. Picture on screen shows 40W. However I was shipped a 25W bulb with manufacturer packaging showing it is a 25W bulb but Im guessing someone in the warehouse keyed in this item incorrectly as there was an Amazon barcode sticker/label put on that says its a 40W bulb.

I gave it three stars for temp control because although it has a nice constant output there is no way to control the output without purchasing a digital thermostat.

Didnt put out a lot of heat.

It works great for a 20 gallon gecko tank. Perfect!

Keeps my leo’s tank warm, but wouldn’t recommend on a colder night.

Lasted just under 2 months
