Just what I was looking for, for my tarantulas!!!

It matches the surroundings of the enclosure perfectly, and is shallow enough for my tarantula to not drown in it but wide enough that all the water doesnt evaporate quickly. Happy with the purchase, and got delivered quickly as well.

I have two red foot tortoises so their tank must stay at 70% humidity or higher, meaning that their soil is usually damp. I noticed that when certain foods (e.g. tomatoes, cucumbers) became covered with dirt they wouldnt eat them. So I bought this food dish to keep their food out of the dirt so they could enjoy their snacks! They are about 1.5 years old, and still small (under 6 inches) and they have no difficulty eating from this dish. The sides are shallow enough that they can reach their food, but elevated enough to keep dirt off their meals. I only put it in the tank during feeding, and they have learned to come out whenever they see the dish!

So glad color was a little different than pic shown... It is a light gray-gray in real life. Perfect size for what I was wanting.

Easy to clean, sturdy, heavy. I put fresh treated in this dish for my hermit crabs and they just love it, they can climb in and out easily. Good item.
