Zilla Terrarium Heat Mats Black Small, 10-20 Gallon, 8 Watt

Like many others have said, this mat doesnt stick - I cleaned the surface very well on a new glass terrarium and stuck it on. By morning it had fallen off - JUNK!

This heat mat has the worst adhesive! It did not stick to the bottom of the terrarium for more than an hour after application. I would never buy this product ever again, BUYER BEWARE! I ended up buying a Zoo Med Under Tank Heater afterwards and have not had one issue with it; that one at least stays stuck to the bottom of the terrarium.

Product keeps my baby and adult ball pythons at a good 88 to 90 degrees on their hot spot with a heat mat controller of course. Have bought 4 of these heat mats already.

This product is unsafe for your reptiles. I plugged this mat in and set it to 90 degrees F with 2 different thermostats, and then checked the heat output on the surface of the substrate inside the terrarium (above the mat placed under-tank) with a temperature gun. Both popular thermostats (one being from Zilla themselves) were unable to regulate the temperature of this mat, and in both cases it quickly exceeded over 107 degrees F. This is dangerous, and even potentially lethal to many reptiles. I have 6 geckos, and heat all of their tanks with Reptitherm under-tank heaters. Thats what I replaced this one with from the pet store while I endure the returns process, and the thermostats are able to get the temperature just right with that one, so the issue was definitely this mat. Save yourself the worry and the trouble, and just avoid this product.

This heat pad keeps my Hedgehogs enclosure warm all day and night! I love it!

Do not buy a heat mat with intentions of heating a tank these barely get piss warm after hours plugged into a thermostat or directly into an outlet I got another mat of a different brand(zoomed) at my local pet store that was the exact same way the adhesive on this was fine people saying theirs got over 100°f are either full of it or got a defective one

Works as advertised

Works great, sticks well. However, there is no temperature control.

The heat pad fell off a day after I put it on. The adhesive isnt strong enough. Wasnt worth the price.
