my box turtle didnt really like the substrate and the irregular shape/size make it difficult to clean the tank.

I have a juvenile iguana and needed this substrate! It worked perfectly. In fact, I’m about to grab some more. I recommend to all that have baby to juvenile iguanas

Mess free. Doesn’t seem easy for my sulcata to burrow in but he figures it out.

Came in a big bag which will last me forever. The only mess you is the dust and slivers of wood it leaves behind. Easy to scoop out and toss when dirty. Pieces of bark are the size of a penny to about a quarter but very. Created gecko approved.

I bought this bark for $10 at the local pet store, and when I began to spread it around with my hands in my tortoises habitat, it put tons of tiny, hair sized splinters in my hands. I also noticed jagged grey rocks scattered throughout it. I have bought other brands of bark bedding for my tort, and they worked out great for me. Please, dont use this for your pets. If it hurts my human hands, imagine it on a little tort or lizard.

Does the job- I recently switched my turtle(s) substrate. It does the job, however it’s not preferable compared to other brand I have tried Would have to buy again if I had to
