> 3 dayIm usually skeptical with low cost devices, but I was in a situation to see if I needed to buy a new fridge, but wanted to know what was going on with it since it was starting to give me issues. So I purchased the temp/humidity sensor. Let me tell you, this system is awesome! The set-up was amazingly easy, and it was true to its word that it has a long distance connection. I have the fridge on opposite ends of my 2k sq ft home. It goes through walls and sends a signal to the (dedicated, sold separately wifi base) and provides me with notifications on my cell phone as I pre-set the qualifying conditions in which to notify me. Ive been talking to my friends about this unit. Highly recommend it.

> 3 dayWell worth the money I paid, the health inspector loves this system. I can monitor my temps, get alerts or turn them off, I can look at history and see the refrigeration cycles and consistency of the units. Ive caught problems before they destroyed product twice now by just paying attention to patterns.

14-11-2024This device warned me when our refrigerator/freezer was on the fritz. It was a gradual decline, which I was able to monitor to the apps history feature. Yes, our refrigerator/freezer failed, but the YoLink temperature sensor provided a blow-by-blow description as the temperature rose. And, the device allowed me to monitor the temperature after I had added dry ice, as a stop gap prior to the arrival of the repair person. But, whats particularly impressive, after I put the device in our cooler it was immersed in water and ceased working. Thinking that it was toast, I thought I might revive it by putting it in a container of rice. Alas, five days later, I inserted new batteries, and, low and behold, it came back to life! In the meantime I had order another from Amazon. So, now we have digital temperature gauges in both the freeze and refigerator to alam us to our next problem. This device is super easy to set up and works like a charm!

> 3 dayI bought the temp/humidity sensor to replace an older iHome sensor that I didnt have faith in anymore. The Yolink sensor shows similar readings to the iHome sensor, so maybe I didnt need to buy something new, but I had a great experience using Yolinks motion sensor to turn lights on in a bathroom that doesnt have wall switches so I decided to give another one of their devices a shot. Adding the Yolink sensor to the Yolink app is a breeze - you just scan the QR code and youre on your way. It appears to report the temp and humidity every few minutes (I noticed some older reviews mentioning it only updates once per hour) so that is a pleasant surprise. However, I use Alexa for all of my smart home needs, and this sensor only shows temperature in the Alexa app, and half of the display in the app is cut off. Im disappointed that the sensor doesnt send humidity data to Alexa, which means I cant trigger automations inside Alexa for alerts or turning the basement humidifier on and off outside of a set humidity range. There are only 2 data points that the sensor needs to report, and the fact that it only reports one outside of the native app (and the one I didnt really care about) really bums me out. Ill most likely stick this in the deep freezer in my garage and look for another option from another company for automation of the humidifier. I suppose I could get one of Yolinks smart outlets to handle this automation inside Yolinks app, but not being able to have my Alexa speakers produce a notification and not being able to ask Alexa what the basement humidity is leaves me wanting/expecting more.

> 3 dayThese work great! Even inside my fridge and freezer! The display is big enough to se, and they work in the cold temps! Great to know when one of the kids leaves the basement fridge open!!!

> 3 dayWe own a small bakery/takeout restaurant and we purchased this to make sure our freezer stayed at the temperature. The product works really well. If the freezer door is open too long and the temperature goes up I receive an alert on my phone and an email. I called customer service to ask questions about setting up the alerts and they were very helpful. I was told that we can attach more sensors and we will be adding them for our other refrigerators/freezers. I think that cameras are in the works too and will be available soon.

> 3 dayWorked easily out of the box (I already owned the hub). Like many, I am using in a cold environment, my refrigerator. So the notification from the device occurs when the temperature goes DOWN. But in these applications, I am obviously concerned if the temperature goes UP, indicating a malfunction or power outage in my frig. UPDATE: I subsequently figured out that one can custom specify a normal range of temps, and be notified when the temp falls outside the range. Now 5 stars.

> 3 dayThe Yolink temperature sensor is essential in promptly detecting temperature excursions in any location. We use one on the refrigerator, and one in the freezer. While these sensors do not integrate with Alexa, the Yolnik app can be programmed to send email and text messages when temperature limits are exceeded.
