It worked perfectly. Very strong material and good thickness. The hardware was a little tricky, but I figured it out.

We have a portable air conditioner that wasnt really portable because the window adapter for it was very difficult to use. Once it was finally put in a window, you REALLY didnt want to move it to another window because it was so difficult to adjust and get just right. It was complex and didnt fit that well even after fiddling with it for a while. This meant that it tended to go into the window long after it should have and stayed there past the optimal removal time. This is our first summer using it, but my adult son installed it in less than 10 minutes and it fits better than the original. Finally the room on the west endo of the house is no longer an oven!

My new AC didnt come with parts to fit to the window I needed to put it in. These were a good solution and not overly priced.

Sometimes after market products are significantly better than the OEM version and this is one of those times. I bought a Black and Decker portable A/C unit and while the unit is working beautifully, the window kit was a nightmare to install. You literally need a hand saw to adjust the length to fit the window (per the manufacturer instructions) and after that its going to be a nightmare to get it out of the window come fall. I was looking for a 2nd window kit, to be able to use the A/C unit in a different space in my home, when I found this beauty. It adjusts like a dream and all be extremely simple to remove and then to reinstall when the seasons change. Not all brands are created equal but Im truly loving this product!

The air conditioner duct and window piece to vent the hot air out is very heavy duty and absolutely perfect! Got here fast. Goes together easily. Very happy with it!

Great quality for the money

The kit would be great if it was as adjustable as the website states. I needed to adjust the plates vertically to 21 in. You can’t adjust thr plates to that measurement because one plate continues to cover the exhaust hose hole. Literally makes no sense. Returning.
