Great fit for a DeLonghi PACEX398VUVC. Just be careful when unscrewing the hose fittings from the old hose and when placing them onto the new hose.

Everything was great.

This hose is not 5.9 inches. The external diameter is 5.75 inches. It cannot be attached securely to 6 fitting. You can screw it on, but easy pull disconnects it. It is going back.

this item was used as an extension to a previous hose. Had to use duct tape to connect them which was not an issue. Also after i used it and went to store it i was able to push it all back together for easy storage. good product

Will not work on narrow windows without modification. Also no way to prevent bugs or critters to enter room unless unit stays on 24/7. The hose though is of good length.

We needed a longer exhaust hose for the Hisense AC we bought last year at Lowes. Selecting the right hose was a bit more complicated than Id realized two different hose diameters and two different spiral directions. I measured the diameter and studied the spiral direction and selected the 5.9 counter clockwise hose. It works perfectly to replace the original shorter hose. It was a very simple matter to unscrew the collar at each end of the old hose and then screw them onto this new hose. Voilla, this new longer hose snapped right into place and is a secure fit. This new hose is very well made and seems strong and durable. Id highly recommend it for Hisense ACs, or any others that need a 5.9 hose.

I searched for this product using my air conditioner’s model and serial numbers. I was still sent the wrong size.

I needed a replacement for a potable air unit and did my research. Everyones selling replacements for the big brands but as far as I could tell, only 2 common sizes on these. One about 5 inches, one about 6. I had one about 6, so ordered this one which is supposed to be a direct replacement but low and behold was slightly bigger than the one I had. It would not screw into fittings, nor was it big enough to go over them and clamp. My solution if this happens to you is that I used 2 small pieces my old hose as couplers for fittings. They actually threaded into this hose. I gave a few stars because I was able to is it with some work. Quality also looks ok. Seemed just like old one when was new. Disappointing because I could have ordered original replacement but was twice as much but assumed this would fit and it really should have since I have a big brand a.c. Beware. Next Time I might just spend the extra to make sure it fits. Dont let this happen to you.

They fit the same look the same, but I think they arent as thick as the original that came with the Air conditioner we bought.
