Yak Attack Round Base Fish Finder Mount, Black - FFP-1005

Like, what? The silver screws that come with that mount the flat part to the round piece that bolts onto the rest of the amount are too short. I can easily pull it apart with all 4 screws in. I thought maybe the black screws hold this piece on, but no. They are really too short for the base. By a lot. How can I trust a $700 fish finder on something like that?

I think the previous reviews are right on. I will just pass along a couple of other things I learned.

Let me start off by saying this is a great mount. I was a little skeptical because I am cheap but after receiving this mount, my first yak attack purchase, I realized they have amazing products.

A little pricey but very sturdy and simple to adjust while in the kayak.

Ordered a mount for my garmin fish finder. Product arrived within timeframe, feels sturdy, easy install and works perfectly.

I had a scotty mount holding my garmin striker plus 4 on my kayak. It was a pain to mount to the pedestal, and the plastic tabs inside loosened over time, leaving my fish finder dangerously loose. There was also no way to adjust it.

Easy enough to install but it has a good quarter to half inch of wobble.
