When the adhesive backing was peeled back, it took all the adhesive with it. I was left with foam squares that had no adhesive on them. Luckily for me, I could deal with the issue by clamping the material where I needed it to go (between a bandolier and the stock), but the adhesive failure could be a dealbreaker to most people.

Very inconsistent product. 3 of the pads I received were a nice heavy thick neoprene. The other 5 pads were a thin, cheap, light foam that compresses down to nothing without very much pressure. Would have been 5 stars if all of the pads had been the same as the 3 nice pads.

I bought these to attach to the inner sides of my desk at work because its really thin sheet metal and is obnoxiously loud if bumped by my foot or when Im opening/closing drawers. I stuck two of these pads to either side, spaced evenly near the center of each panel. I would say they definitely made a difference, though maybe somewhat less of a difference than I was hoping for. But to be fair, Im only using two pads per side (those two cover maybe an 8th of each panel), so maybe if I used more it would be even more effective. Aside from that, they stuck to the panels effortlessly, and feel reasonably dense.

I got these to put on the jaw face surfaces of my workbench vice to help protect the work pieces from the metal jaws. I could have used some 8 long pieces to more precisely fit the vice jaws (4 x 8), so I had to cut a piece to splice onto the end of the other rubber piece to fit the vice. (Use scissors to cut it, box cutter just mangled one). So far, so good.

I used these to insulate PEX piping from the joists they were fastened to in order to reduce the transmission of vibration from a hot water recirculation pump. Using the self-adhesive, I applied them to the joists between the pipe and the joist and then fastened the hanger through the rubber pad. While the noise cut isnt 100%, there is noticeably less noise in the living space of the house, now, and the adhesive made it easy to apply. Note, you will need a good pair of scissors to cut this stuff! Its tough!
